Thankfully, the list price is still the one this desktop processor had at launch. To further sweeten the deal — at least to some buyers — a free 90-day subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited is also included. However, only new subscribers to Amazon's music streaming service can take advantage of it and other various terms apply as well.

After being available on Amazon for over a year, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D gathered 2,057 user reviews and 74 answered questions. Its current global rating is a very good 4.7/5, a score which is the result of 89% perfect assessments and 5% 4/5 reviews. However, there are 4% minimum scores as well. The breakdown by feature focuses on gaming performance, rated 4.7/5, stability (4.6), value for money (4.4), and "easy to lock" (which could be about installation or overclocking), rated 4.3.
