Tipster @Greymon55 claimed that AMD's upcoming Ryzen refreshes with 3D V-Cache will enter mass production by November. Tipster @ExecuFix revealed what appear to be details for the upcoming AMD Instinct MI250W GPU. The MCM-based card will reportedly feature 110 CUs running at 1.7 GHz, 128GB of HBM2 memory, and a 500W TDP.

The Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5975WX has turned up on Geekbench with 32 cores and 64 threads. The Chagall processor has commendable multi-core performance, but rumour has it that AMD has cancelled the non-Pro Threadripper 5000 series.

An Intel Alder Lake Core i9-12900K retail sample was tested with an all-P-core overclock to 5.2 GHz in CPU-Z and the results compared to a stock AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. The results show good leads in single-thread and a marginal lead in multi-thread performance, but this comes at a 330 W power consumption cost.

The Ryzen 7 APU and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU allow playing all the current games smoothly on the matte FHD display of the G15. The laptop offers space for two NVMe SSDs and also has an excellent battery life. Only the display won't win any prizes.

The Arc graphics cards are slated to be released in the beginning of 2022. Intel has stated that its new series of GPUs will not be restrictive in terms of cryptomining performance. Intel aims to entice gamers and contest AMD and NVIDIA in the competitive market.

The Cypress lineup is Simply NUC's first with 4x4-inch motherboards supporting the Ryzen Embedded V2000 processors with Vega 7 iGPU. Early benchmarks of the upcoming Intel 12th gen Alder Lake Core i9-12900K in combination with AMD's just announced Radeon RX 6600 GPU were posted on Chinese social media. The results show good gains for the Core i9-12900K compared to the Ryzen 9 5900X, Ryzen 9 5950X, and the Core i9-11900K in 3DMark CPU tests. However, real-world gaming benchmarks do not seem to show very high differences, especially when paired with DDR4 RAM.

AMD has unveiled the Radeon RX 6600, its answer to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3060. The RDNA 2-based card arrives with a US$329 MSRP and supposedly delivers 'the ultimate 1080p gaming experience'.

AMD and Microsoft have finally acknowledged poor L3 cache performance in Windows 11, and a fix for the same is on the way in the form of a Windows update later this month. AMD also notes that CPPC2 may not schedule threads properly on preferred cores in Windows 11 and is investigating a fix.

Leaked benchmarks of the upcoming Intel Alder Lake Core i5-12400 suggest that Intel may match up very well to the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. The Core i5-12400 offers six Golden Cove cores that seem to be perceivably better than the Ryzen 5 5600X and significantly faster than its predecessor, the Core i5-11400.

AMD has released GPUFORT with the purpose of tackling rival NVIDIA and its CUDA platform. CUDA currently has a firm grip on the parallel computing industry. However, AMD hopes that its continued strategy of providing open-source alternatives will sway developers to its own platform.

New Linux graphics kernel patches with USB4 DisplayPort Tunneling are now available from AMD. The tunneling feature allows the USB, DisplayPort and PCIe transfer protocols to operate simultaneously by sharing the available bandwidth. For now, only the DisplayPort 1.4 specs are supported with AMD's tunneling drivers. Hopefully, DisplayPort 2.0 specs could be added by the time AMD introduces its next gen embedded and laptop solutions in early 2022.

AMD's Ryzen 5000 processors with the new B2 stepping may not offer any improvements in terms of performance, but they could possibly improve the availability and supply of these hard to get gaming CPUs.

A UK retailer has leaked the price of AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. Sapphire expects to sell the Navi 23-based card for over £435, equivalent to US$475 without sales taxes. VideoCardz has leaked several other custom cards too, including an ITX model.

The launch of AMD's cheapest Radeon RX 6000 graphics card is imminent, with the card expected to arrive on October 13. Now, the final specifications and official gaming benchmarks have leaked online, pitting the card against the Radeon RX 6600 XT, GeForce RTX 2060 and GeForce RTX 3060.

Samsung has confirmed the presence of ray-tracing technology on a future Exynos GPU. Ray tracing should produce images in games that create a higher immersion factor due to lighting and shadow refinements. However, the screenshot comparison provided by Samsung for Exynos ray tracing has been met with a mixed response.

AMD has finally breached the 30% processor usage wall it had been facing on Steam’s Hardware & Software Survey. It is the strongest position AMD has held in the survey for over 16 months and seemingly reverses the trend for Intel's growth. Intel’s ambitions in this particular arena will now mostly lie on the success of Alder Lake.

A new rumour from South Korea suggests that Microsoft and AMD are developing an Arm processor for laptops. It will use Cortex-X1 CPU cores, an AMD mRDNA2 GPU with 8CUs, and an Exynos 5G modem. The mystery SoC will be fabbed on TSMC's 5nm node.

The new Windows 11 roster includes three Xiaoxin Air 14 Plus SKUs and another three Xiaoxin Pro 14 SKUs with a mix of Intel Tiger Lake and AMD Ryzen 5000 U/H processors, plus a new Yoga 13s model that is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5600U APU. With the Omen series, HP has been offering visually attractive gaming laptops that are also interesting in terms of their price-performance ratio. Now, the manufacturer introduces a new gaming series to the market with the Victus laptops.

We are still a few months away from the official Steam Deck release, so the dev kit performance could actually be improved in the meantime. Still, demanding games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Cyberpunk 2077 appear to be hitting 30 fps even on high settings thanks to the included LPDDR5-5500 quad channel RAM.

Unlike the usual VAIO models that are overpriced, the new 15.6-inch FL15 notebook costs around $710, but offers some modest specs with an AMD Ryzen 3 4300U processor, plus 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB NVMe SSD. Port selection is not really generous either, yet it does feature a microSD card reader.

Honor has made good on some earlier teasers with a launch for the new MagicBook 16 series, with an up-to-date Ryzen 7 platform and 144Hz displays. They have been joined with a less expected variant: the V 14. It will now join the first wave of laptops to ship with Windows 11, and will do so with a 2K display and Tiger Lake-H35 processors.
