The RTX 3080 12 GB has appeared out of nowhere, with pre-orders set to begin today. Reputedly, NVIDIA's review embargo will lift simultaneously, but without the company published any drivers for the graphics card. However, a few retailers have forgotten to adhere to NVIDIA's sales embargo.

Engineering samples (ES) of AMD Ryzen 7000 Raphael are already being tested in the wild if a recent entry discovered in the MilkyWay@home project is anything to go by. The listing does not reveal the clocks but does confirm an 8C/16T and a 16C/32T part both with 1 MB of L2 cache per core, which is double of what Zen 3 currently offers.

The integrated light isn't very bright and so it serves as a more supplementary role. Video quality is otherwise bright and clear with the handy built-in tripod connector and 6 ft USB cable.

The quad-core mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro and can support up to three displays simultaneously. The manufacturer expects the NucBox 4 to begin shipping this month.

The PN64 can be equipped with Alder Lake-P processors up to an i7-1280P or Alder Lake-H ones up to an i7-12700H coupled with DDR5-4800 RAM. The ESA has announced that this year's E3 will not be held in person in Los Angeles, US, because the country is still fighting COVID-19 and its variants. E3 2021 took place as a virtual-only event and E3 2022 is likely to follow suit. However, the ESA has not officially confirmed that E3 2022 will be held online.

Nvidia offered a sneak peek at the upcoming RTX 3090 Ti during its CES 2022 keynote. The company offered only a few TFLOPs numbers and did not delve into the actual specifications. Lenovo has unveiled a brand new series of desktop computers for medium to small businesses. The ThinkCentre neo 70t, neo 50s, and neo 30a 24 all-in-one computers are powered by 12th gen Intel Core processors. The neo 70t can also be equipped with an RTX 3060 Ti.

Lenovo has introduced its latest Legion gaming mice. The new peripherals come in wired and wireless options, the second of which has been equipped with lightweight, comfort-focused builds and ultra-high DPIs. The M300s and M600s also features RGB, used to illuminate their familiar branding.

The 27-inch Lenovo Q27h-20 is a high-end edgeless 27-inch QHD monitor with a stylish design, Eyesafe-certified low blue light technology, as well as an integrated USB-C one-cable docking solution that provides up to 90 W of charging power. It will hit the US market in May with a starting price of US$349.99.

The third-generation ThinkVision P27h and P27q professional monitors come with modular flexibility, digital wellness, and sustainability in mind. Both feature a 4-side near edgeless bezel design, QHD resolution, and a one-cable docking solution. They will be available in July, starting at US$499.

The entry-level gaming monitors Lenovo G27qe-20 and G24qe-20 come with a 1 ms MPRT response time, 100 Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync and Lenovo Artery support, and more. Both are certified by Eyesafe to provide a superior viewing experience without eye strain or color distortion. They will hit the market in March, starting at US$259.99.

The AMD FreeSync Premium-compatible Lenovo Legion Y25-30 is a 3-side NearEdgeless IPS gaming monitor with a smart variable refresh rate of up to 240 Hz, 1 ms response time (0.5 ms moving picture response time), integrated stereo speakers, a USB hub, and more. It will launch in May, starting at US$339.99.

An Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition board has been listed on eBay for more than four times its MSRP of US$1,499. In what could be perceived as another insult to gamers hunting for an Ampere card at close to MSRP, a used mining rig featuring six RTX 30-series cards has been listed for the princely sum of US$16,000.

At CES 2022, AMD showed off its first 3D V-cache enabled chip, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, targeted at gamers with performance that rivals that of the Ryzen 9 5900X and the Core i9-12900K. AMD CEO Lisa Su also offered the first sneak peek at Zen 4 and Socket AM5 that are slated for a 2H 2022 release

At just 210 x 203 x 62.2 mm, the GeForce RTX 3080-powered mini PC is almost 70 percent smaller than the Asus ROG Strix RTX 3080 OC that's meant for desktop form factors.

Acer has revealed the Predator Orion 5000 and the Orion 3000 gaming desktops for high-end and mid-range gaming markets. Orion 5000 desktop is the more expensive of the two with a 12th gen Intel Core i7 processor and an RTX 3080 GPU, while the cheaper Orion 3000 packs an RTX 3070.

HP has now brought its Victus gaming sub-brand to the desktop with the Victus by HP 15L PC. The HP Envy Desktop is now official with Intel Alder Lake processors, Nvidia Ampere/AMD RDNA2 graphics cards, up to 128GB RAM, 3TB storage, and more. It will be available for purchase in spring 2022 for an unspecified price.

The HP Omen 45L will be available in select regions starting January 5. One can configure it with up to an Intel Core i9-12900K, GeForce RTX 3090, 1TB NVMe SSD, and an 800W power supply. Prices start at US$1,899 for the entry-level variant.

The affordable HP Omen 25L gaming desktop is configurable with 12th-generation Intel Alder Lake/AMD Ryzen 5000G processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/AMD Radeon RX 6700XT graphics cards. Its price and availability will be revealed at a later date

AMD has taken the covers off its entry-level offerings, the Radeon RX 6500 XT and Radeon RX 6400. Both graphics cards use a Navi 24 GPU and feature 4GB of GDDR6 video memory. The Radeon 6500 XT will cost US$199 and be purchasable in the United States on January 19.

A real-world image of the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has turned up, confirming the top-end card’s existence. A YouTuber has already managed to buy a retail unit of the unannounced Intel Core i5-12400 CPU. Upon benchmarking, the Cinebench score of the retail Core i5-12400 came out slightly lower than the Core 15-12600K. As for temps, with only the stock cooler, the chip shot up to 81°C (177.8°F).

The Intel Core i5-12400F has been spotted on another synthetic benchmark, and once again it appears to be punching higher than its weight. The Alder Lake chip managed a higher single-thread score than rivals such as the Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 9 5900X, and it also pipped the CPU-Z Validator chart single-thread score for the Intel Core i9-11900K.

Russian outlet Gecid.com recently ran 2021 gaming benchmarks on an overclocked Core i7-2600K. They aimed to see how the legendary Sandy Bridge chip holds up when paired with the Radeon RX 6900XT. Despite being 10 generations older than Alder Lake parts, the i5-2600K seemingly had no problem handing in 60 FPS or more in punishing titles like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.

According to Xanxogaming, a Peruvian computer hardware store has apparently broken the embargo and started selling units of the Intel Core i5-12400F, a midrange Alder Lake part that Intel hasn't even officially announced yet. The report also confirms that Intel will be bundling midrange Alder Lake parts with the Laminar RM1 cooler

Names of upcoming Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs seem to have been confirmed in system files from a test Intel driver. The driver lists names such as Arc A380, Arc A350, Arc A370M, Arc A350M, and Xe A200M, which are likely to be low-end parts. CD Projekt recently announced that it was settling a class-action lawsuit over Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch out of court. However, the paltry US$1.85 million settlement raises questions considering how the game has earned CD Projekt over US$500 million since 2020.

Leaker @g01d3nm4ng0 recently outed a new picture of the MSI MAG B660M Mortar, an upcoming midrange B660M board. An earlier price leak indicated that the MAG B660M Mortar will sell for US$219, with the WiFi variant set to cost US$239.

According to sources close to Videocardz, Intel is reportedly working on a pre-binned high-performance variant of the Core i9-12900K. Dying Light 2 developer Techland recently outed specs for the upcoming survival horror game. While min specs call for a palatable hardware spec, the high ray-tracing preset demands the GeForce RTX 3080, even for a 1080p/60 FPS experience.

Apart from two "Elasti" dGPU models that may be released in 2023, the NUC driver also mentions iGPU models for quite a few Alder Lake successors, including Raptor Lake-S, Meteor Lake, Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake. Rumor has it that the "Elasti" family will feature high-end GPUs that could match AMD's RDNA3 and even RDNA4 models.

With a starting pre-order price of US$529 (16 GB, no SSD), the Intel Core i5-11320H-powered MINISFORUM EliteMini TH50 will only begin shipping at the end of February 2022. The other configurations available are 16/256 GB (US$569) and 16/512 GB (US$599). For all three, the regular prices will be US$120 higher.

Twitter stalwart @kopite7kimi has just revealed that the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti will feature a GA106-150 GPU with 2560 CUDA cores and 8GB of VRAM, while the RTX 3050 will use a GA106-140 GPU with 2304 CUDA cores and 4GB of VRAM. Nvidia is expected to unveil both graphics cards at CES 2022.
