The quad-core mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro and can support up to three displays simultaneously. The manufacturer expects the NucBox 4 to begin shipping this month.
The NucBox series has been slowly but surely expanding into multiple models to cover a wider range of performance targets and audiences. The latest is the NucBox 4 which, unlike the original NucBox or NucBox 2, is powered by the more demanding AMD Ryzen 7 3750H CPU for much faster performance. GMKtec is now accepting pre-orders for the NucBox 4 for $599 USD or only $539 when applying the coupon code 'PR-KB4' at checkout between now until January 16. Only the first 50 customers may benefit from this deal.
The Ryzen 7 3750H is a relatively older and uncommon processor based on the Zen+ architecture. Overall performance is most similar to the Intel Core i5-9300H and so users shouldn't expect anything too crazy out of the NucBox 4. Nonetheless, its integrated Radeon RX Vega 10 GPU will easily outperform any UHD Graphics solution from Intel which can come in handy for external monitor support and for streaming video to multiple monitors.
Expect our review on the NucBox 4 in the weeks ahead.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
