Described as a "must-have gaming monitor made for heroes" alongside the more affordable G27qe-20 and G24qe-20, the Lenovo Legion Y25-30 comes with a few attractive highlights for competitive gamers, such as the 240 Hz refresh rate and a response time as low as 1 ms (or even less, as mentioned in the press release, but the 0.5 ms moving picture response time comes with the price of a "negligible" flicker and is not compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium).
With a rather modest resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels, the Legion Y25-30 uses an anti-glare IPS panel with a size of 24.5 inches. Other figures include a typical brightness of 400 cd, and a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 3M:1 (1000:1 typical value), as well as a 99% sRGB color gamut. Its list of features includes a USB hub with no less than four USB 3.2 Gen 1 downstream connectors and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-B upstream, two 3 W speakers, two HDMI 2.0 and one DP 1.4 video inputs, and more.
Obviously, the Lenovo Legion Y25-30 is fully supported by Lenovo Artery, which provides the user with tools such as game mode, aim point, desktop partition, task scheduler & reminder, timer, and more.
This monitor is scheduled to hit the market in May 2022, with a starting price of US$339.99.
