CES 2022 | Lenovo announces the ThinkCentre neo 70t, neo 50s, and neo 30a 24 AIO desktop computers for medium to small businesses, powered by 12th gen Intel Core processors

CES 2022 is in full swing with companies announcing refreshes to their current product lineups and introducing brand new ones. With the ThinkCentre neo series of desktop computers, Lenovo falls into the latter camp. According to Lenovo, the ThinkCentre neo 70t, the neo 50s, and the neo 30a 24 all-in-one (AIO) are geared towards small to medium-sized businesses that have been hit the hardest by the pandemic.

Lenovo is positioning the ThinkCentre neo 70t as a full-sized desktop computer for content creators. The PC can be equipped with up to 12^th gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris X graphics. If you need more GPU grunt, you can also configure the ThinkCentre neo 70t with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. When it comes to memory and storage, the neo 70t supports 2 x 2 TB SATA and 2 x 1 TB PCIe SSDs and up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory.

The ThinkCentre neo 50s is considerably smaller and less powerful than the neo 70t. Just like the neo 70t, the neo 50s can also be upgraded to 12^th gen Intel Core processors. However, the neo 50s only supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 and 1 x 2 TB SATA or 1x 1 TB PCIe SSD. There is also no option to upgrade to an RTX 3060 Ti. So, customers of the neo 50s will have to do with the integrated Intel Iris X graphics.

Finally, both the ThinkCentre neo 70t and the ThinkCentre neo 50s come with Bluetooth 5.0 and optional WiFi 6.

Among the two desktops, Lenovo has also snuck in the ThinkCentre neo 30a 24, an all-in-one PC with up to 12^th gen Intel Core processors and a 23.8-inch FHD display that brightens up to 250 nits. The neo 30a 24’s display also offers wide viewing angles and is equipped with a retractable webcam.

Furthermore, the ThinkCentre neo 30a 24 is limited to only 16 GB DDR4 memory and a single 1 TB SATA or PCIe SSD. For connectivity, the neo 30a 24 has Bluetooth 5.0 and can be configured with WiFi 6.

All ThinkCentre desktop computers have TPM 2.0 for Windows 11.

The ThinkCentre neo series will be available from March 2022. While Lenovo hasn’t given the starting price of the ThinkCentre neo 70t, the neo 50s and the neo 30a 24 will start at US$799 and US$1069 respectively.
