Full performance after BIOS updates. The ThinkPad P73 has been around for a while, but Lenovo had to deliver some BIOS updates before the device could use the full potential of its components. Neither Intel, nor Nvidia, introduced major updates in the last 18 months, so the P73 is still up to date in the beginning of 2021.

Well-known laptop with a new screen. We are already familiar with the Lenovo ThinkPad P15s Gen 1 even though this is the first time we have it in our hands. This may sound like a contradiction, however, we are familiar with all the aspects of the ThinkPad P15s Gen 1 except for one: The factory-calibrated UHD display that is supposed to be brighter than all other ThinkPad screens.

Hot CAD compact class. Lenovo's ThinkPad P14s Gen 1 borrows its design from the T-model ThinkPad T14 and includes an Nvidia Quadro GPU as a unique selling point. For the majority of users, this will probably only bring minor advantages, also because its performance is limited per se. However, the ThinkPad P14s can be a good choice for one or two CAD applications on the go.

Expensive professional. For mobile workstations, performance is the top priority. Accordingly, Asus equips its ProArt StudioBook Pro X W730G5T with the Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 but does without eight-core CPUs. This is a mistake, because the price is too high for the built-in CPU.

2-kg (4.4 lbs) workstation. The Asus workstation scores some major points in our review thanks to a very high level of performance, 4K display and 16 GB of VRAM. Moreover, our review device features 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. However, there is no Thunderbolt 3 port.

Intel comet kills ultrabook workstation. Different name, revised design. HP wants to make its ultrabook workstations of the ZBook Firefly series more attractive with this recipe. But as a result, the American manufacturer is slowed down by the chosen processor and graphics chip, because they're both outdated. Pity, since the ZBook Firefly 15 G7 is actually a good mobile workstation for light CAD tasks.

Affordable Core i9 workstation. The Precision 3551 is one of the least expensive mobile workstations you can find with a vPro-enabled 10th gen Intel Core i9 CPU. Ports and features are commendable so long as you're okay with the dull visual design.
