Powerful components and a great display. Almost all manufacturers offer slim workstations, but you usually do not get very powerful GPUs. HP on the other hand equips its ZBook Studio G7 with powerful Quadro RTX GPUs from Nvidia and also puts a very good DreamColor display with the 4K resolution and HDR in the stylish chassis. Is the vapor chamber cooling powerful enough to utilize the full power of the components?

The iGPU workstation. The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 1 is being sold with Intel and with AMD CPUs. We take a look at the AMD variant, which does not feature a dedicated GPU - peculiar for a workstation. We also test the ThinkPad PrivacyGuard screen.

Chubby performance bundle. After we tested the ThinkPad T15g with a GeForce GPU, we now take a look at the Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen 1 model. The entry-level version of the workstation fares well in terms of the performance, but it shows a surprising weakness in the input devices.

Full performance after BIOS updates. The ThinkPad P73 has been around for a while, but Lenovo had to deliver some BIOS updates before the device could use the full potential of its components. Neither Intel, nor Nvidia, introduced major updates in the last 18 months, so the P73 is still up to date in the beginning of 2021.

Fast and Fury(ous). 10 percent lighter and 12 percent smaller than the previous generation ZBook 15 G6, the ZBook 15 G7 is a huge overhaul that doesn't sacrifice key workstation features just for the sake of style.

Well-known laptop with a new screen. We are already familiar with the Lenovo ThinkPad P15s Gen 1 even though this is the first time we have it in our hands. This may sound like a contradiction, however, we are familiar with all the aspects of the ThinkPad P15s Gen 1 except for one: The factory-calibrated UHD display that is supposed to be brighter than all other ThinkPad screens.

Hot CAD compact class. Lenovo's ThinkPad P14s Gen 1 borrows its design from the T-model ThinkPad T14 and includes an Nvidia Quadro GPU as a unique selling point. For the majority of users, this will probably only bring minor advantages, also because its performance is limited per se. However, the ThinkPad P14s can be a good choice for one or two CAD applications on the go.
