The last one will be the first. With its display technology and powerful battery of an almost 600-mAh capacity, Mobvoi mainly wants to improve the weak battery life that is typical for WearOS – and it succeeds. The fact that the smartwatch uses "GPS" in its name, even though many wearables record routes at this point, is also justified: with GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is positioned very well.

A matter of opinion. Not fish, not meat - that was the conclusion of some testers on the Nubia alpha, which presented Nubia as a smartphone on the wrist. The successor Nubia Watch, on the other hand, clearly carries the species in its name. Optically it stands out clearly among many current Smartwatches. But Nubia does not get enough out of advantages like GPS and heart rate sensor and the phone interface did not pass the test.

Step by step. Five years of continuous development are making themselves felt: The affordable Xiaomi Mi Band 5 convinces in the test with many useful functions and a precise measurement of the steps taken. This is particularly surprising given the extremely low price of only 39 Euros (~$46).

Out into nature. The Honor Watch GS Pro is a clear commitment to sports and leisure activities in nature. Honor gives it a robust case and had it tested according to several military standards. Not only in this point does the wearable differ from other current smartwatches though, including the Watch GT 2 Pro of the parent company Huawei.

I turn the wheel. The rotating bezel is not the only thing that sets the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 apart from other smartwatches. Like no other, it presents WhatsApp messages clearly arranged and including pictures and emojis. Only the runtime is still a shortcoming.

I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike. Who expects something like that? The Honor Watch ES supports outdoor cycling only when connected to a smartphone from Honor or Huawei. We discovered even more curiosities - but also took a look at the new fitness workout that makes the two wearables something special throughout the company.

Peeled from the egg. Huami has grown. Two years after the takeover of the multisport sensor company Zepp, the Group is establishing a new wearables brand under this name. The first product is a chic smartwatch. In our test, the Zepp E makes a good impression. But it does not justify its high price.

Wolf in sheep's clothing. Our test device in white looks almost dainty - yet the Polar Grit X is a robust, military standard tested sports watch for almost all sports including triathlon. And it is the only Polar watch with a connection to Komoot at the time of testing.

Noble, helpful, and good. In terms of aesthetics, Huawei raises the bar even higher. With titanium and ceramics, the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro also distances itself from its subsidiary Honor's smartwatch, the Honor. Both have increased functionality compared to their predecessors, and they have both had "Pro" added to their names. That being said, there does not seem to be any new hardware. Is Huawei saving something for a real version jump?
