Pixel Watch and Pixel Tab tipped to arrive on October 19 alongside the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel Fold
It has only been a day since Google confirmed the date of its Pixel 6 series launch event. However, rumours have already started up about what other devices the company will also announce on October 19. According to @AppleLe257, Google may be planning a bumper launch event, somewhat following in Apple's footsteps.
Reputedly, we should expect Google to unveil the Pixel Fold and a Pixel Watch alongside the Pixel 6 series, alongside new Nest Speakers and even a Pixel Tab. Theoretically, all could be true; all devices have leaked in some capacity already.
However, Google has not certified any of these devices with the FCC, as it has with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Seemingly then, the Pixel Fold, Pixel Watch, Pixel Tab and new Nest Speakers are not close to shipping, unless the FCC publishes new filings between now and October 19. Rumour has it that Google has scheduled a Pixel Fold release date for well after this month, albeit still before the end of the year. Hence, this could apply to other new product categories for Google, should that be a smartwatch and a tablet.
Presumably, the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tab will feature Google Tensor, the company's first SoC. It remains to be seen what will power a Pixel Watch, though. A modified Exynos W920 could be a potential candidate, given how closely Google and Samsung are working these days.
