The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro has leaked again, courtesy of @passionategeekz. Previously, Anatel revealed two new Amazfit smartwatches, which Amazfit followed up with a teaser on Weibo. We would expect Amazfit to sell the GTR 3 Pro globally, considering past smartwatch releases the company.
Reputedly, Amazfit will sell the GTR 3 Pro in two styles, as the photos below show. Seemingly, Amazfit will position the grey edition as a sports-focused model, with the inclusion of a silicone strap giving it a utilitarian feel. By contrast, we suspect that Amazfit will market the leather strap and gold finish of the other style as more of an everyday smartwatch, with it adding an element of luxury that its sibling lacks.
Both models will support up to 150 sports modes, along with an advanced biosensor and numerous health tracking metrics. Supposedly, the smartwatch will be capable of playing locally-stored music, too. Unsurprisingly, the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro will rely on Zepp OS for its operating system.
Amazfit has already confirmed that the GTR 3 Pro will arrive on October 12. For some reason, @passionategeekz believes that it and the GTS 3 will launch a day earlier on October 11. They have not explained why, for reference. Regardless, @passionategeekz asserts that the GTR 3 Pro will retail for US$235, approximately US$55 more expensive than the GTR 2.
