The venerable and highly configurable design of the Trident 3 is paying off for MSI. First launched during the Nvidia Pascal days, the internals have been updated to sport the latest desktop-class Coffee Lake-H CPUs and the removable GTX 1660 Super graphics card.

Remedy's Control recently received a DLSS 2.0 update. The update leverages Nvidia's radical overhaul of its DLSS AI-based temporal supersampling system to deliver better than native image quality in-game.

An AMD Ryzen 9 4900H APU with Radeon Graphics has been spotted alongside an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 performing well on the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark. The frame-rate measurements were high, with an average of all the batches recorded at 75.5 fps. The Renoir APU is listed as having 8 cores and 16 threads to call upon.

It has been reported that new laptops featuring one of Nvidia’s SUPER mobile GPUs and an Intel 10th Gen CPU will be made available in April. A whole range of SUPER mobile graphics cards, from the GeForce GTX 1650 all the way up to the RTX 2080, is expected to be announced. While Lenovo remains unsure about which GPU it has included in the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 2, NVIDIA has confirmed that it is not the regular GeForce GTX 1650. At least three Asus laptops have been listed on the Amazon China website revealing that AMD Ryzen 4000 laptops are finally arriving. The 17.3-inch Asus TUF FA706IU Gaming laptop features the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H APU while both the 14-inch ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401II and 14-inch ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IU laptops come with AMD’s Ryzen 7 4800HS.

As GTC 2020 nears, new rumours about upcoming Ampere GPUs appeared online. Stemming from different sources, the full GA100 will apparently support up to 8,192 CUDA cores, 48 GB of VRAM and a 300 W TDP. Meanwhile, the GA102 will supposedly offer 40% better performance than the RTX 2080 Ti from 5,376 CUDA cores and 12 GB of VRAM.

Dell has seemingly confirmed the existence of 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake desktop processors thanks to a promo video the computer manufacturer uploaded to YouTube, which has now been made private. It has been rumored that this could be the launch place for Ampere. In regard to the virus outbreak, the company says it is taking "precautions" and will monitor the situation closely.

Two possible NVIDIA Ampere GPUs with high CUDA Cores and memory capacities were spotted on the Geekbench 5 OpenCL benchmarking site. One of the GPUs with 7,552 CUDA Cores and 24 GB RAM scored 184,096 points in OpenCL beating the Titan RTX by nearly 39%. These GPUs are likely to be datacenter parts and are specced lower than the full GA100 Ampere chip.

If you are looking for a highly customizable 17-inch high-end laptop, the Schenker XMG Pro 17 is a good choice. However, be prepared for noise during 3D usage.

Released yesterday, the latest Game Ready driver package from NVIDIA comes with optimizations for Apex Legends Season 4, Tom Clancy's The Division 2: Warlords of New York, ARK: Genesis, as well as support for two G-SYNC-compatible monitors by AOC (AG271FZ2 and AG271F1G2) and one by Asus (PG43U).

NVIDIA has issued its TV devices with a new update. This version of SHIELD Experience (8.1.1) includes a host of new features and bug-fixes. The most prominent of these may be the limited-time opportunity to upgrade the free GeForce Now subscription to a Founder's membership instead. The upgrade also adds XBOX Elite 2 controller support, as well as improved multiple Bluetooth device connections.

The Intel Comet Lake-H Core i9-10880H has surfaced in Geekbench in two listings with slightly varying boost clocks. The scores indicate that the Core i9-10880H may offer anywhere between a 7.5 to 13% performance improvement over the Core i9-9880H making it on par with a desktop AMD Ryzen 7 3800X.

3DMark 11 scores were recently leaked for the Ryzen 7 4700U. The 15W mobile part posted 5446 on the graphics test, substantially higher than Nvidia's discrete GeForce MX250. It also posted a physics score on par with a desktop system equipped with the 65W i7-6700.

The latest 3DMark and Geekbench results suggest the new RTX Super laptop GPUs are around 15% faster than the non-Super models. Spec-wise, the Super models will include 14 Gbps GDDR6 VRAM chips and retain the same TDP values. We also know that Ampere GPUs are right around the corner, so is it really worth getting these GPUs now?
