A whole bunch of MSI laptops with Comet Lake-H are now shipping to customers to combat the AMD Asus Zephyrus G15
Even though the 10th gen Intel Core H-series was unveiled just a couple of weeks ago, OEMs everywhere are already prepared to launch their refreshed lineups equipped with the latest Intel CPUs. MSI will be one of the first out of the gate with a deluge of laptops sporting the Core i7-10750H or Core i9-10980HK to replace last year's Core i7-9750H.
Interestingly, all models that are ready to ship are 17.3-inch laptops. The 15.6-inch models will follow towards the end of the month. These laptops also come with very fast 240 Hz or 300 Hz refresh rate panels to improve fluidity and reduce screen tearing.
The models now shipping are as follows:
- MSI GE75 with 144 Hz, 240 Hz, or 300 Hz display options. Configurable with either the Core i7-10750H or Core i9-10980HK and the GeForce RTX 2070, RTX 2070 Super, RTX 2080, or RTX 2080 Super
- MSI GP75 with 240 Hz panel, Core i7-10750H, and RTX 2070. The GP series is home to MSI's lower-end gaming laptops compared to the GE series.
- MSI GS75 with 240 Hz or 300 Hz panel options and the Core i7-10750H or Core i9-10980HK. GPU options range from the RTX 2060 to the RTX 2070 Super or RTX 2080 Super.
An Amazon search for "MSI 10750H" will reveal all the available SKUs in question. Prices range from $1200 for the GP65 up to $3400 USD for the fully-loaded GS75. The chassis designs are otherwise all the same as last year's models.
