Nevertheless, the OEM asserts that the user can get their work or gaming done on this 11.5-inch Android tablet in the manner suggested by its suffix. With the Chromebook Flip CM3000, ASUS will soon introduce a Chrome OS-based 2-in-1 that looks an awful lot like a Microsoft Surface Go. The ASUS Chromebook Flip CM3000 features a 10.5-inch display, 4 GB of RAM, a detachable keyboard and pen support.

Chuwi has introduced a new Android tablet, the SurPad. The 10.1-inch device has 4 GB of RAM and a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, along with support for a detachable keyboard and an active stylus. The Chuwi SurPad starts at US$249 and has an 8,000 mAh battery.

A YouTube-based tipster has asserted that successors to the premium Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ slates are on the way. However, it seems they will be not much more than Snapdragon 888-powered versions of those 2020 models. Then again, their prices are now not expected to change either.

The latest market research report from Canalys shows that the PC market enjoyed success not seen in years during 2020. It posted shipment volumes not seen since 2015, hitting 143.7 million units (a 35% year-on-year (YoY) increase) in the last quarter (4Q2020). Tablet and Chromebook shipments also saw record increases, with the latter doubling in number compared to 2019.

It looks like Samsung plans to unveil a successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 in the not-too-distant future. Four model numbers of unreleased Samsung tablets suggest so, at any rate. TCL's display-development subsidiary CSOT has prepared 2 of its flexible prototypes that can function when paired to rollers for display at CES 2021. It is no secret that the Surface Pro 8 will be another minor revision on the Surface Pro series' dated design. HP is introducing an upgraded Elite x2 G8 business tablet with up to Core i7 Tiger Lake options. The Elite x2 G8 offers both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity and integrates Tile to help locate the device when misplaced.

108MP is the highest resolution available to mobile devices at the moment, featuring most recently in the freshly-launched Xiaomi Mi 11. However, the respected leaker Ice Universe asserts that Samsung has new 200MP ISOCELL-line sensors ready to go "soon". Therefore, OEMs may aim to include this tech in their flagships in the course of 2021.
