Nokia has indicated it will hold a product launch event in October 2021. The HMD Global brand has also all but confirmed that it will serve to unveil a tablet. This device will, apparently, offer the same experience as one of the company's phones, just in a larger form-factor.
Nokia is best known for its affordable smartphones; however, some recent leaks have suggested the HMD Global subsidiary will also break into tablets as well soon. Now, the brand has acknowledged these rumors publicly for the first time, in a launch teaser that seems to confirm them as well.
It has done so alongside an image that may show the device in question, propped up against one of the new 3310s. The impression is solidified by the press shot's caption: "Everything you’d expect from a Nokia phone in a tablet".
The choice of phone shown involved notwithstanding, it is more likely that the Nokia slate will ship with a version of Android. The device - thought to be called the T20 - may also do so with a budget, possibly Unisoc, processor and a ~10-inch display. These early hints might be confirmed during Nokia's October 6, 2021 event.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
