Apple has registered a dozen new model numbers with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia, including three iPhones. Purportedly, the model numbers could relate to the iPhone SE 3 and the iPad Air 5, both due soon with A15 Bionic SoCs.

Lenovo has showcased its first-gen Legion Android gaming tablet in a new video teaser showing the slate in full from all angles. The clip gives the impression of being a full trailer for the slate's upcoming launch, reinforcing earlier leaks and teasers concerning its design in the process. Then again, a date for this event is still forthcoming.

ASUS has announced that the Vivobook 13 Slate is available again, two months after it introduced the Windows tablet. However, the device no longer costs €599. Instead, ASUS will now charge €699 for the device, which has an OLED display and a Pentium Silver N6000 processor.

Motorola has revealed the Moto Tab G70, an 11-inch tablet that also has 4 GB of RAM. The 2K tablet comes with a 7,500 mAh battery too, plus a 4G LTE modem, among other features.

With no design refresh for another year, Apple is expected to turn to a chipset upgrade, which will introduce a few other upgrades. The next cheap iPad could still find itself with a two-year-old SoC when it launches, though.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus and Tab S8 Ultra will not have a power supply in their boxes, matching the trend that has affected flagship smartphones. Samsung will continue to include the S Pen with its premium tablets, though.

PINE64 has started selling the PineNote, a large eReader with a built-in digitizer. The PineNote has a 10.1-inch display, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of eMMC flash storage and a 4,000 mAh battery. The eReader is available for US$399 and supports Wacom EMR-based pens.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab A8, a 10.5-inch budget tablet running Android 11. The Galaxy Tab A8 is available in three colours, three memory configurations and starts at US$229.99. LTE models are unavailable currently, though.

The Google Play Console has revealed the Tab M10 (3rd Gen), a tablet that Lenovo is expected to release soon. Developed by researchers from the Lancaster University in UK, UltraRAM is almost ready for mass production and could soon offer a unified solution that acts as RAM and storage. The technology relies on compound semiconductors that are usually used for photonic arrays like LEDs and lasers.

The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is available in the US for US$629.99, having been sold in other markets for a while, including Europe. The Tab P12 Pro has a 12.6-inch display, quad speakers and a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Lenovo complements the 2.5K display with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage.

Realme International's head of business, Madhav Sheth, has given an interview in which a launch for the GT2 Pro outside China is on the cards. This announcement has recently been confirmed by the sighting of what might be the flagship phone on the BIS certification website. At the end of a successful Indiegogo campaign that raised almost one million Euros by early May 2020, the Astro Slide 5G was supposed to arrive in March 2021. Not long after becoming the first browser on Android Automotive, Vivaldi now hits the Astro Slide 5G phone, a device inspired by old-school handhelds like the Nokia Communicator. The device created by UK-based Planet Computers ships with Vivaldi and is currently on display at CES 2022 in Las Vegas.

Dell has revealed Concept Stanza, its vision for a productivity-focused tablet without cameras, ports or speakers. Dell sees the 11-inch tablet as a note-taking device and a laptop companion.
