OPPO is now tipped to launch a new Android tablet in conjunction with its next-gen top-end Find X6-series smartphones. Now, a new leak puts both types of device in an equally premium category, with potentially high-end display, battery and internal specs for the "Pad2". Then again, it seems the OEM may have made a slight compromise to achieve this high-end appeal.

Digital Chat Station has just elaborated on recent assertions that OPPO will launch a second-gen tablet, possibly very soon. This device, possibly set to launch as a "Pad2" rather than a Pad 2, is believed to join the equally hypothetical "Lenovo Tab Extreme" as an ultra-rare Dimensity 9000-powered slate on its launch.

The putative device is indeed now thought to become "an all-round flagship tablet" with fast charging to go with its "large" battery and memory specs. They are thought to power an 11-inch display in the new slate, tipped to launch with a "2800x2000" (or 2.8K) resolution.

Then again, the screen is thought to stick with the LCD of the first-gen Pad, even though the putative "Find X6" series has a solid chance at top-end OLED. Nevertheless, the 'OPPO Pad2' remains backed to make a better onslaught on the premium tablet space compared to its Snapdragon 870-powered forebear.
