An unreleased Pixel device has turned up on Facebook Marketplace again, a few months after Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro prototypes emerged. This time, someone is attempting to sell the Pixel Tablet, which Google last previewed in October. As we discussed at the time, Google will offer the Pixel Tablet with a wireless charging speaker dock, which is also included in the listing.
While Google has already shared marketing images of the Pixel Tablet and its dock, Google only offered a quick look at the latter during its Pixel 7 series launch event. However, the Facebook Marketplace shows up-close photos of both devices and how they can be combined for use as a digital picture frame or a Nest Hub. Evidently, the dock also has a replaceable power cable like Google's current Nest Hub products.
Additionally, the listing shows that the Pixel Tablet will ship with 256 GB of storage, mirroring the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. For reference, Google has detailed that the Pixel Tablet will be available with the Tensor G2 chipset too. The tablet has relatively thick display bezels though, underlining its status as more of a budget device than the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro. Currently, Google is expected to announce the Pixel Tablet in spring at I/O 2023.
