@OnLeaks has built on FrontPageTech’s Google Pixel Fold leak, which the latter delivered almost a month ago. Not only has @OnLeaks provided high-resolution renders of Google’s first foldable, but he has also shared dimensions and screen sizes. Specifically, @OnLeaks alleges that the Pixel Fold measures 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7 mm when unfolded, compared to the 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3 mm dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold4.
In other words, Samsung’s foldable will be noticeably shorter than the Pixel Fold, while also being 9.6 mm narrower but 0.6 mm thicker. Unfortunately, @OnLeaks has not leaked the dimensions of the Pixel Fold in its folded state, although we suspect they are 158.7 x 69.85 x 11.4 mm. Regardless, the leaker claims that Google has equipped the Pixel Fold with a 5.79-inch cover display, which would be nearly 0.5-inch smaller than the equivalent in the Galaxy Z Fold4.
Conversely, the Pixel Fold should have a larger foldable display at 7.69-inches. Based on previous rumours and leaks, the Pixel Fold will launch in spring 2023 during I/O 2023 for US$1,799. As we discussed earlier this week, Geekbench recently confirmed the presence of the Tensor G2 chipset, which powers the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and next year’s Pixel 7a.
