Google is offering Pixel Buds Pro at a steep discount, despite only launching the high-end earbuds earlier this year. Revealed in May at I/O 2022 for US$199.99, the Pixel Buds Pro launched on July 21 alongside the Pixel 6a and started shipping a week later. Now, Google and retailers are offering the Pixel Buds Pro for US$149.99, a US$50 and 25% saving.
Currently, Google and the likes of Amazon have stock of the earbuds in Charcoal, Coral, Fog and Lemongrass colourways. Please note that these colours only extend to the sides of the earbuds. As Google’s marketing images show, most of the earbuds are black, regardless of the colour chosen, while all charging cases come in a white finish.
For reference, the Pixel Buds Pro promotion ends in a week’s time on November 30 at 23:59 PT. Seemingly, this promotional period applies to other retailers too, including Amazon. While the Pixel Buds Pro retail for significantly less than the AirPods Pro 2, Google’s effort offers a similar feature set. For example, the earbuds offer up to 7 hours of battery life with ANC enabled, as well as ANC, Bluetooth multipoint and a 5-point EQ, the latter of which arrived only last month.
