Teclast is now selling the P30S globally, another budget Android tablet that arrives barely a month after the M40 Plus. For reference, the Teclast P30S debuted last month in China for CNY 599 (~US$86). Incidentally, Teclast also released the M40 Air, M40S and P30 Air this summer, all running Android 12.
The Teclast P30S continues in this vein, with Android 12 powered by 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage and a 12 nm MediaTek chipset. According to our database, the MediaTek MT8183 provides approximately 1.29x the performance of the Helio P22 MT6762 powering the Teclast P30 Air, presumably because of its more powerful CPU and GPU cores.
Additionally, the Teclast P30S has a 10.1-inch IPS display that resolves at 1,280 x 800 pixels and a 6,000 mAh battery that it can recharge via USB Type-C. Moreover, Teclast includes 5 MP rear and 2 MP front-facing cameras, plus a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card reader. Currently, the Teclast P30S is available on Amazon for US$109.99, a 15% reduction on its US$129.99 list price. However, Teclast has yet to outline whether the tablet will ever return to its high price point. Alternatively, Teclast sells the P30S on AliExpress for US$114 before taxes and shipping.
