Exhilarating. The Intel Core i9-12900H, which is already powerful on its own, is not only supported by Nvidia's premium graphics card. The extensive connectivity and a very distinct cooling system also indicate that the laptop is striving for the highest performance. However, Schenker probably has another reason for calling the laptop a gaming workstation, and this also became noticeable in our review.

Intel Alder Lake with the brakes applied. Until now, the MateBook D 16 has always been an affordable multimedia laptop with AMD CPUs, but the new 2022 model uses an Alder Lake processor from Intel. Transition to Intel is expensive. Huawei has now furnished the multimedia notebook MateBook 16 with an Intel processor and calls it the MateBook 16s.
