Reduced voltage. Intel's new ULV quad-core processors are very fast, but they also get very warm and consume more power, especially compared to the previous dual-core models. We took two current laptops from Lenovo and tried to reduce the core voltage of the processors via the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (undervolting).

Why you should avoid RGBW. The word "4K" has quickly become a marketing blurb for most new laptops. While the concept is relatively straightforward, how manufacturers achieve native 4K resolution can be dubious. We highly recommend the standard RGB approach over RGBW for a number of reasons.
