RedMagic is now offering a high-end gaming monitor in China. Equipped with a 4K and 160 Hz panel, the gaming monitor also features Mini LED backlights that deliver up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. RedMagic has included other tantalising features too, like HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C connectivity.

Philips has introduced the 34B1U5600CH, 27B1U5601H and 24B1U5301H, three similar monitors aimed at offering 'a new level of convenience and productivity'. All equipped with KVM switches and webcams, Philips has also included a USB Type-C docking station that can power peripheral devices at up to 100 W.

LG has confirmed pricing for the MAGNIT 4K 136-inch, its massive Smart TV equipped with Micro LEDs. Also available with three Bang & Olufsen speaker bundles, the MAGNIT 4K 136-inch is LG's showcase of what it can do with Micro LED technology.

The Odyssey Ark is a pioneering Samsung monitor in that it is a 55-inch monitor with a pronounced 1000R curvature and an imposing portrait mode. The Samsung QN100B Neo QLED TV offers 5,000 nits of brightness, double what most conventional TVs can achieve. Equipped with a 98-inch, 14-bit and mini LED panel, the Samsung QN100B Neo QLED TV also has a 120 W speaker system, a 4K native resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Huawei has announced a new Smart TV in China aimed at gamers. Billed as the Vision Smart Screen Z65 Gaming Edition, the Smart TV has a 4K native resolution, a 120 Hz panel, a 50 W Devialet sound system and HDMI 2.1 connectivity, among other things.

LG has unveiled the latest addition to its MAGNIT series of TVs for high-end home media rooms at CEDIA Expo 2022. AOC has introduced the AG275QX/EU and AG275QXN/EU, two AGON 5th generation gaming monitors with IPS and VA panels, respectively. Offering 165 Hz refresh rates and QHD resolutions, the pair also deliver 1 ms response times with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity.

ASRock has introduced the PG34WQ15R2B, a curved gaming monitor that is already available for US$429.99 in the US. Offering 91% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and a 165 Hz refresh rate, the PG34WQ15R2B also delivers up to 550 cd/m² of typical peak brightness, among other features.

Xiaomi has started selling the Redmi Gaming Monitor G24 in China, where it sells for a particularly affordable price. Equipped with a 23.8-inch panel, the Redmi Gaming Monitor G24 operates natively at 1080p with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response times (MPRT).

Samsung has unveiled the Odyssey OLED G8, a high-end curved gaming monitor that will be available later this year. Equipped with a 34-inch OLED panel, the Odyssey OLED G8 has a QHD resolution, an 1800R curvature and a 175 Hz refresh rate, among other features. AMD FreeSync Premium support is also onboard to ensure smooth gameplay on current-generation graphics cards or PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X consoles.

The ThinkVision S25e-30 is Lenovo's latest 24.5-inch FHD monitor. It has a starting price in line with its HDMI 1.4 spec; nevertheless, it has launched with the same new, red-accented design of its higher-end siblings that integrates its own joystick for easier physical control. It also benefits from potentially realistic color reproduction and a faster-than-average refresh rate.

The ThinkVision T34w-30 features a 21:9 VA LCD panel with 3440 x 1440 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. Besides the usual video outputs like HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4 and a USB-C 3.2 with DP 1.4 mode, this model also features a USB hub with 4X USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a GbE jack.

The ThinkVision T32p-30 features a 21:9 31.5-inch IPS panel with 4K resolution that can reproduce 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. It also comes with a USB hub, KVM switch and optional modular webcam and speakers.

Lenovo has announced the Legion Y32p-30, described by the company as a 'powerful display for immersive gaming'. Equipped with a 31.5-inch IPS panel that is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, the Legion Y32p-30 offers 10-bit colour depth, a 4K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate and a USB hub, among other features.

The new and ingenious 42-inches 4K LG OLED Flex TV LX3 can bend to 900R curvature in 20 increments via motorized arms in the stand with the touch of a button on the remote. It also deals with the annoying mirror reflections of curved TVs or gaming monitors by applying a unique anti-reflective coating to the HDR-certified display.

The budget IPS portable monitor is now on sale for $139 USD to be one of the least expensive and lightest 15.6-inch models available. Display quality is decent with a fair list of cut corners considering the low price.

Corsair and LG have collaborated to produce the Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240, an LG W-OLED-based gaming monitor with a bendable form factor. The Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 also offers a 1440p resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC support, plus exceptional response times.

BenQ has introduced the MOBIUZ EX270M, MOBIUZ EX270QM and MOBIUZ EX480UZ, all gaming monitors designed to suit different audiences. While the latter is a 48-inch OLED gaming monitor, BenQ's other 27-inch gaming monitor both offer 240 Hz refresh rates.

BetaView has brought the Zion X to Kickstarter, a series of 16-inch portable monitors with bright displays. Supposedly plug and play, the Zion X Lite and Zion X Pro are just 6 mm thick and feature 2.5K panels with 16:10 aspect ratios.

The Alienware AW2723DF is a gaming monitor that Dell is aiming at eSports gamers, with a 1440p resolution and a 280 Hz overclockable refresh rate. Dell boasts that the Alienware AW2723DF is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified too, as well being AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible.

Dell has introduced the Alienware AW2523HF, a gaming monitor that will be available from next month. Equipped with a 24.5-inch IPS panel, the Alienware AW2523HF offers 400 nits of peak brightness, HDR10 support and a 360 Hz refresh rate at 1080p, among other features.

HP has introduced the Z32k G3, the world's first Thunderbolt 4 monitor with an IPS Black Panel. HP promises that the monitor will deliver high colour accuracy and significantly better black levels than conventional IPS panels. The HP Z32k G3 has Thunderbolt 4 ports too, among other features.

LG has teased the UltraFine 32UQ890 before its showcase at next month's IFA 2022 conference. Billed as a 4K professional monitor, the UltraFine 32UQ890 also comes with a stand that can automatically adjust its height, tilt and extension to minimise posture issues.

LG has introduced the UltraGear 45GR95QE, its latest gaming monitor. Equipped with a curved 45-inch display, the UltraGear 45GR95QE offers 1440p visuals with a 240 Hz refresh rate and excellent response times, thanks to its reliance on an OLED panel.

ViewSonic has presented the ColorPro VP2786-4K, a 27-inch and 4K monitor designed for photographers or video editors. Equipped with plenty of ports too, the ColorPro VP2786-4K offers excellent colour accuracy but only mediocre response times and just a 60 Hz refresh rate.

ASUS has lifted the lid on the ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ, a 42-inch gaming monitor with a high resolution and high refresh rate OLED panel. Also equipped with numerous ports, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ will be available later this quarter for US$1,399.

ASUS has announced the ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ, a 48-inch gaming monitor with an OLED panel. Running at 4K and 138 Hz, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ should compete with the LG UltraGear 48GQ900, another gaming monitor with which it shares many specifications.

ASUS has unveiled the ASUS, ROG Swift PG27UQR and ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN, a pair of 27-inch gaming monitors with fast IPS panels. Arriving later this year, the ROG Swift PG27UQR and ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN are 4K/160 Hz and QHD/360 Hz gaming monitors, respectively.

ASUS has announced the ROG Strix XG32AQ, as well as sharing more details about the ROG Strix XG32UQ. Xiaomi has announced that new electronics from 2 categories will hit the Indian market soon. The intriguingly-named Notebook Pro 120G will join a "series" of 4K smart TVs that, while new to this country, might be re-brands of products already on the Chinese market. Nevertheless, with the bezels and specs as advertised or hinted at thus far, prospective customers are unlikely to care all that much.

You may have heard of local dimming, but what about local refresh rate? Samsung has reportedly filed a patent that suggests this will become a possibility for the next generation of its displays. It outlines a method for creating a single panel split into multiple zones with different refresh rates, the current high-end 120Hz standard included.
