AOC has announced the P3 series, a new line-up of professional monitors. The company plans to offer seven monitors at launch under the P3 brand split between 24-inch, 27-inch and 34-inch sizes. For reference, while the seven monitors share many features, only 'QW' editions have a built-in 2 MP webcam with Windows Hello support and stereo 5 W speakers.
Additionally, 'CW' models have a 5 MP webcam with Windows Hello support, the same speakers as their QW siblings and a USB Type-C docking station that can recharge connected devices at up to 65 W. By contrast, CV models do without a built-in webcam entirely but still contain built-in speakers and a USB docking station. All monitors offer HDMI ports, although the CU34P3CV dispenses with the DisplayPort found on other P3 series models for a KVM switch.
The CU34P3CV is also the only P3 member with a VA panel; all other P3 monitor feature IPS panels. The CU34P3CV has a 100 Hz refresh rate, a 1500R curvature and a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution too, compared to the mostly 1080p, flat and 75 Hz panels in the rest of the P3 series. The Q27P3CV and Q27P3QW are 1440p models as well, but they peak at 75 Hz. According to AOC, the seven members of the P3 series will be available next month. The company has outlined the launch prices for all models too, which we have reproduced below. More details about all models can be found on AOC's website.
