Amazon US and Sony have cut the price of the KD-65X80K, one of many Bravia Smart TVs that the pair have recently discounted. Introduced last year, the KD-65X80K sits within the Bravia X80K series, which consists of six display sizes between 43- and 85-inches. In effect, the Bravia X80K series is Sony's budget offering for 2022.
At the heart of the KD-65X80K is the 4K HDR Processor X1, which works with 4K X-Reality PRO to upscale 720p through 1440p videos to 4K. Additionally, the TV supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision technologies, which will activate when using compatible streaming services. All Bravia X80K TVs feature Google Assistant and Google Play Store access thanks to built-in Google TV.
Currently, Amazon US and Sony have reduced the KD-65X80K by approximately US$300, a 30% saving on the TV's US$999.99 list price. As with other Bravia Smart TV deals, Amazon US has undercut Sony by a few dollars, with the KD-65X80K available for US$698 via the former and US$699.99 via the latter.
