The news that Xiaomi may not bring Android 10 to the Mi A2 Lite has clearly annoyed some people. Hundreds of people have responded by petitioning the company to do so, with representatives seemingly on hand to calm fears. Xiaomi still does not know when the Mi A2 Lite will receive its final OS upgrade, though.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ have been eligible for beta versions of One UI 2.0, Samsung's custom version of Android 10, for months now. The arrival of Android 10 on the Galaxy Note 9 brought hope to the idea of Samsung honouring its January release schedule for the S9 series too, but that no longer appears to be the case.

Some news about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has leaked on Reddit, including a possible release date, cast of characters, and even a morsel of information about the tech behind its development. Some may have been expecting the superhero title to launch at the same time as the PlayStation 5 for Holiday 2020, but it appears fans will likely have to wait quite a bit longer.

A new rumor from French website iPhonesoft claims that iOS 14 will be compatible with the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, and original iPhone SE. However, the upcoming version of iPadOS will supposedly drop support for the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4. Apple is expected to announce the new versions of their mobile operating systems at WWDC in June.

According to a new leak, Redmi - which is usually known as a smartphone brand - will launch a fitness tracker soon. It may be of the kind that fits into a silicone wrist-band, and may also have a front-facing capacitive button. This device may have been certified for use in India already.

Capcom will apparently be developing more remakes of some of its classic franchises, possibly with the upcoming releases of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in mind. Although no specific title has been revealed yet, fans have already started speculating, with plenty of comments being made in favor of the classic survival horror game Dino Crisis.

Google Camera has just been updated to version 7.3.017 on the Play Store. A new report allegedly based on a teardown of its APK specifies the ability to record at 24 frames per second (fps). This option may pertain to upcoming phones such as the Pixel 4a series, which may also have cropped up in this code.

The eminent tipster Evan Blass has posted images of a Motorola phone with a feature new to this OEM: stylus support. The device as depicted also has a punch-hole camera, suggesting that it is intended for release this year. However, it may not be intended to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note series.

Comet Lake is the code-name for a possibly imminent series of upcoming Intel CPUs. Accord to some leaks, they will then be followed by Rocket Lake. A leaker claims to have uncovered a reference to a new ATX motherboard that may pertain to some of these chipsets.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has just cleared its first Motorola phone of the year. Its product data shows that it has a new model number (XT2055-2) and code-name (Blackjack). The device also has a markedly large battery, although this may be the most impressive thing about it on launch.

The release of the iPhone SE 2, or iPhone 9 as it may end up being called, looms. Industry sources are now claiming that Apple's next budget smartphone will enter mass production next month, according to Bloomberg, before a March unveiling.

The RX 5600 XT has been well received so far, but a new rumour claims that AMD has 80 CU and beyond GPUs planned for this year. A picture of what is claimed to be the first look at the PlayStation 5’s user interface has been posted on a well-known imageboard. The poster of the image states that they work at a game studio that is currently utilizing PS5 devkits. Comments in regard to the possible PS5 UI have focused on its similarity to the PS4’s revamped UI.

Alleged European prices for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 5G, S20+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, and Galaxy Flip Z have been shared online, along with the expected sales date for the Galaxy S20 smartphone range. While Galaxy fans may have to pay between €900 and €1,400 for one of these premium devices, potential buyers in the US may have to fork out US$850 to US$1,200 for a brand-new Galaxy S20.

A new patent reportedly accepted by an Indian authority may kick off speculation about the Note 10's successor. It shows a case design with a cut-out that matches the usual placement of an S Pen, and that suggests a rear-camera module similar to that of the Note 10 Lite. However, it has no scope for a 3.5mm jack, which is a feature of the new mid-ranger.

A new leak posted to the Geekbench 5 database purports to spill some of the upcoming Google Pixel 4a's specs. However, this "leak" is particularly unreliable, not the least as it makes the bold claim that the OEM will switch from Qualcomm to Samsung for this phone's processor. Furthermore, the SoC in question also belongs to the Galaxy S8 flagship line.

A new Galaxy foldable smartphone has been slated to arrive next month at Galaxy UNPACKED for a while now, but perhaps not one this ambitious. While previous leaks have shown a clamshell Galaxy foldable, the reality could be all the crazier than we had originally imagined.

Samsung's next upcoming foldable phone may be called the Galaxy Z Flip. The prolific leaker Ishan Agarwal claims to have uncovered some more of its specs. It will apparently have a main screen measuring 6.7 inches. Furthermore, it may have a 12MP rear camera rather than the next-gen sensors predicted for the Galaxy S20 series.

A popular tech YouTuber has shown off what he claims to be a phone with an unprecedented 44MP sensor in its dual in-display selfie camera. This device, which is yet to be launched, was not identified in terms of its name, specs or manufacturer. However, it is likely that it will be a premium model released this year.

Realme recently debuted its first pair of TWS earbuds in India. At 3999 INR (or about US$56), they seem a very reasonably-priced AirPod alternative. However, it now seems the OEM has a 2nd variant in the works which may cost even less.

According to a new leak, Intel has a replacement for the NUC 10 Performance mini-PCs in the works. It apparently goes under the heretofore-unknown code-name Panther Canyon, and will be powered by Tiger Lake-U processors with Xe graphics. This new rumor also covers the "NUC 11 Extreme" line, also known as Phantom Canyon.

Details about NVIDIA's upcoming Ampere GPUs have leaked online, and it looks like we may in for a treat this year. We are getting to know a few hardware specs about two Ampere GPUs — GA103 and GA104, which could eventually be designated the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070, respectively. GA103 seems to offer a significantly higher CUDA core count and memory bandwidth compared to the RTX 2080 Super. The leak also seems to indicate that there is ample room for a GA102 RTX 3080 Ti, which could turn out to be a monster of a card.

With the next Galaxy UNPACKED event just a few weeks away, information about Samsung's Galaxy 10 successors is shaping up. One of the more divisive elements of the S20 series so far arguably has been its rear camera housing, not least because of its disorganised design. Thankfully, the reality may be slightly better thought out.

AMD and NVIDIA are locked in a battle for the midrange currently, with both manufacturers pulling moves to make their cards look more attractive. First we had NVIDIA, which cut the RTX 2060 by US$50, and now AMD has reportedly pushed out new firmware to AIBs to tweak their editions of the RX 5600 XT. The enhancements promise to bring up to 15% better performance and put the RX 5600 XT within spitting distance of the RX 5700.

Following a spate of fake renders, supposedly real hands-on images of the Mi 10 have appeared online. Specifically the Mi 10 Pro 5G, the images the device with four rear-facing cameras including a 108 MP sensor, and a punch-hole front-facing camera. 65 W charging and a curved display look to be on board too, with Xiaomi set to unveil the device on February 14 at 10:00 CST (UTC +8).

A new listing on the TENAA regulatory website indicates that the OEM Vivo intends to reboot its Nex 3 flagship with a new version. It has an SoC with a different max clock to that of the phone's original Snapdragon 855+ processor. This upcoming device also has dual-mode 5G and a new red color.

An Indian electronics authority has approved a new device from Realme described as being part of the "Smart Watches" category. Therefore, it seems this brand is preparing to launch its first wearable of this type in India. If so, it will compete with other OEMs such as Huawei and Garmin in this market.

Images of the Leica M10-R camera have been discovered on the website of the FCC (United States Federal Communications Commission). It has been speculated that the camera featured in the new photographs is actually a prototype version of the Leica M10-R, which is rumored to be coming with a 47 MP sensor.

Some live images of an alleged Poco F2 Lite smartphone have been uploaded in a brief video clip on YouTube. Along with showing off a waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie camera, it seems the Poco F2 Lite might come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, 6 GB RAM, and a meaty 5,000 mAh battery.

OPPO has reportedly revealed that there will be a Find X2 after all, and that it will launch in the first quarter of 2020 (1Q2020). New leaks posted to Weibo hint that this phone will have a premium display with a class-leading 120 hertz (Hz) refresh rate. However, there is no word on a repeat of the original X's most unique trick: its pop-up camera.

Three new rumours have appeared about the PlayStation 5, of which two are verifiable. Apparently, the DualShock 5 will not only have context-adaptive triggers but will also be backwards compatible with the PS4. The DualShock 4 will supposedly be forwards compatible with the PlayStation 5, which would probably make more sense.

The wait goes on for the Pocophone F1. The device is the last in Xiaomi's Snapdragon 845 arsenal to receive Android 10 builds of MIUI 11, and the company has been cagey about when the device will see Google's latest OS too. However, now a representative has tentatively set a date, and it might not be another month, at least.

If you thought that 2019 was good for graphics cards and gamers, then think again. 2020 is already shaping up to be even better than last year, with not only new consoles and RTX 3000 around the corner, but also RDNA 2. AMD's next GPU architecture will sport huge improvements over the likes of the RX 5700 series, while the work that has gone into may help the PlayStation 5 too.

The latest "leak" doing the rounds about the Xiaomi Mi 10 certainly paints the picture of an exquisite-looking device, but is it real? Despite calls to the contrary, one respected leaker of Xiaomi hardware says no. We are digging the Mi Mix Alpha vibes, though.

A Pixel 4a XL may still be in the works, according to XDA Developers. The website claims to have spotted three new codenames in an AOSP repository, which may point to two new devices and potentially a development board.

PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn is reportedly coming to PC sometime in 2020, according to a report by Kotaku. The title will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

There has been no shortage of speculation in regard to the actual release date of the PlayStation 5 and its final recommended retail price. The latest suggestion has come up with a slightly earlier date than many believe, while the worldwide market prices listed on this occasion for the PS5 seem to be in line with what is already generally expected.
