Poco F2 Lite smartphone makes surprise showing in purported live image leak
While the world still holds its breath for more news of the Pocophone F2/Poco F2, it seems a potential 5G-capable Poco F2 Lite smartphone could have sneakily slipped in under the radar. YouTube user RevAtlas has uploaded some details that he received about the supposed budget smartphone that included three images and some information about the specifications.
Of course, the information could be fake, and the live images (see below), which were taken with a Xiaomi Redmi K20 smartphone, could have been doctored to help the claim that it’s a genuine Poco F2 Lite on show. One image that shows the “About phone” information gives the device name and device model as "POCO F2 Lite". Could the former Xiaomi-operated brand be planning on releasing a Lite version of the Pocophone F2 before the full-fledged variant is put on sale?
Along with the Snapdragon 765G processor, 6 GB RAM, and 5,000 mAh battery, the details sent to RevAtlas also claim that the Poco F2 Lite will have a high-resolution camera and will be understandably priced much cheaper than its fellow Poco device, the Pocophone F1. The phone appears to run on Xiaomi’s MIUI (modified for POCO), and it may even be launched this year.
