POCO may have confirmed the arrival of the POCO X2, but it has been caught using images of the Pocophone F1 to advertise its next device. Expected to be a modified Redmi K30, the POCO X2 will launch on February 4.

It is really happening, POCO has announced when it will be unveiling its next smartphone, the POCO X2. While the focus of talk about the device has been its high-refresh-rate display and the likelihood of it being a Redmi K30 in disguise, some people have spotted POCO pulling a cheeky trick on its POCO X2 product page.

Currently, the product page proclaims "Run Cool. Run Forever" among other hints about the POCO X2, with an image below it showing off what could be the device's cooling system. Except, it is not a picture of the POCO X2, nor is it a picture of the Redmi K30. On the contrary, POCO has reused an image of the Pocophone F1 that we saw during its unveiling almost eighteen months ago.

If you are in any doubt, then take a look at the two images below. One is from the announcement of the Pocophone F1, while the other is from the POCO X2 product page. We have adjusted the brightness and contrast of the second image to avoid any doubt, but you can view the original either on the POCO X2 product page or in the image at the top of this article.

The POCO X2 will debut on February 4, undoubtedly with a different design to the one on display here. The device may be an India-exclusive, though.
