Not received Android 10 on your Pocophone F1 yet? You're not alone
It has been a few weeks since Xiaomi issued the Android 10 build for the Pocophone F1, the last of its Snapdragon 845-powered handsets to receive the OS upgrade. Some devices started receiving V11.0.4.0.QEJMIXM as early as January 21, with a wider release seemingly occurring ten days later on January 31. Xiaomi did not officially announce the arrival of Android on the Pocophone F1 though, leaving people in the lurch about when they would receive Android 10 on their handsets.
However, it seems that the wider public rollout was not as wide as it seemed. On Twitter, for example, there are hordes of people still complaining that their Pocophone F1 is yet to receive Android 10. While no official Xiaomi Twitter account seems to have responded to the matter, the General Manager of POCO India has. Responding to one Pocophone F1 owners, Manmohan Chandolu tweeted:
Hey we are working on the rollout. Request to please wait for some time for the Android 10 for POCO F1
In a separate tweet, Chandolu has also cited "the situation in China" as a reason for the slow rollout of Android 10 to the Pocophone F1. Presumably referring to the outbreak of COVID-19, we are unsure how this could impact a software release. Regardless, it would seem that you are not alone if your Pocophone F1 is yet to receive Android 10.
