First Poco X2 update brings camera improvements, bug fixes, more
Poco unveiled the Poco X2 last week. While it's not quite the groundbreaking smartphone that the Poco F1 was back in 2018, it's still a solid, feature-packed phone that offers excellent value for money. The phone has now also received its first OTA update.
The update comes with the version number "11.0.4.0.QGHINXM". The Poco X2 runs on Android 10-based MIUI 11, and this update is more of the same. According to the changelog, it brings image processing improvements for a number of shooting scenarios. It also fixes the bug causing the camera app to crash in Pro mode. Lastly, the update doubles up as the January security patch.
The Poco X2 already features some nice camera hardware, the star of the show being the 64 MP Sony IMX686. That sensor is expected to be the flagship sensor of choice this year, with companies like OnePlus and Asus billed to adopt it on their upcoming phones. The Poco X2 already takes some pretty good pictures, and owners will likely be even happier after installing this update.
While the update is going out, it may take a few days to get to everyone. Those unwilling to wait can download and install the update.
