Word on the grapevine claims that Samsung could be set to bring back the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy S21 series, after ditching it for the Note 10, S20, and Note 20 lineups. Apparently, the company may do that to gauge how much it influences sales.

A lot of supposed information about the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series has been leaked, with more details appearing in regard to the specs of the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro. A few images of screen protectors for the phones have also been shared, and the alleged prices for three variants of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro have turned up.

Intel has taken to its official Twitter account to announce a collaboration with the muralist Tristan Eaton resulting in new "Collector's Editions" of some of the 10th-generation Core desktop CPUs. However, that is all that differentiates them from existing SKUs, apparently. The company has yet to reveal whether they also stay the same in terms of price or not.

The PlayStation 5 could end up showing some 4K titles in “fake 4K” according to one commentator while another has opined that the next-gen console might be giving developers some headaches because of its AMD SmartShift technology and variable processing frequencies. The PS5 has already been under the microscope lately because of similar concerns.

A leaker has outlined a possible roadmap for Apple's transition away from Intel processors. According to the post, an ARM-powered MacBook Pro 16 will arrive in 2021, while the company will not bring ARM versions of the iMac Pro or Mac Pro to market until 2022.

According to their information, the MateBook X will have a 13-inch display and a FreeTouch trackpad, which will replicate the feel of Apple's Force Touch trackpads. The Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro will be Huawei's latest Kirin-based smartphones, but neither are apparently launching in Europe anytime soon. Instead, Huawei plans to bring mid-range and entry-level smartphones to market like the Mate 40 Lite, along with laptops like the Honor Hunter and Honor MagicBook Pro.

A patent describing AMD's approaches to a hybrid ISA solution for low power computing has come to light recently. AMD could be taking a cue from ARM's big.LITTLE approach and Intel's hybrid ISA implementation in Lakefield and the upcoming Alder Lake processors. The patent is reportedly still being tweaked upon, but there is no confirmation that this design would indeed make it to market.

Recently, a leaker claimed to have spoiled the line-up of Apple's upcoming launch event, to be held online this year. Now, another tipster asserts this is not the case at all and that some new devices will not get to debut on stage at all.

Rumour has it that the Pixel 5 will not be the successor to the compact Pixel 4. The rumours were true; Motorola will be unveiling a new Razr smartphone this year. A higher-resolution main camera is apparently due too, but the Razr 2020 5G will probably stick to the design of its predecessor.

The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will allegedly come in two variants. The information comes from a Geekbench listing that shows the phone running an Exynos 990 SoC. Much like the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition's global variants will likely come with an Exynos chip.

The Realme X50 was one of the first phones to rock the Snapdragon 765G, thus also making it among the first 5G phones of 2020. Now, there is evidence that a version of the same without this connectivity may launch in Singapore. This is in accordance with a new leak from Twitter.

Contrary to previous rumours, leakers are now claiming that Apple will not be releasing the fourth-generation iPad Air until 2021. The 11-inch device will adopt the design of the iPad Pro though, along with an A14 Bionic SoC and up to 512 GB of storage. Codenames for the devices were found in code for the Zepp 4.8.9 app and appear to relate to successors of the well-received Huami Amazfit GTS and Huami Amazfit GTR.

A consultant at DSCC claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will not be featuring an under-display camera, likely due to poor yields and possible compromises in terms of image quality. This could upset hopes of an “all display” Samsung flagship this year.
