The iPad Air will be compatible with the Apple Pencil 2 also and will start at US$649, up from US$499 for the current model.

MIUI 12 stable update rollout for second-batch Xiaomi smartphones like the Mi 9 SE and Redmi Note 8 Pro should be completed by the end of September

Xiaomi has announced that the rollout of the China ROM of the MIUI 12 stable update should be completed by the end of September for second-batch smartphones, including the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and Redmi Note 7. The global and India MIUI 12 rollouts should follow shortly afterwards.

A patent filed by Wingtech has revealed a smartphone that could possibly end up being the long-rumored Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 or Mi Mix 2020. The images in the filing show a device with a wraparound display while the main camera issue has been solved via a pop-up unit. The Mi Mix 4 is expected to feature an innovative design.

Google has teased that it plans to launch the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 soon, and rumour has it that one of them will be featuring some impressive display technology. According to one respected informer, either the Pixel 4a 5G or Pixel 5 will have a 6.67-inch display that is capable of reaching 120 Hz. The devices will apparently launch within the next 2 months, too.
