The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i, also called the Chromebook Flex 3i, is now purchasable for US$329.99. The affordable and convertible Chromebook features an 11.6-inch IPS touchscreen, 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 64 GB of storage.

Eve Devices is currently developing its second-generation 2-in-1 informed by feedback from its community, as is the brand's wont. It has collected this input on the tablet portion of this product, and has now moved onto its detachable keyboard. The OEM has prepared 4 concepts for its fans to vote on.

The budget 14-inch Lenovo convertible will come with a processor that's just as fast or faster than the Core i7-8565U as found on Ultrabooks almost twice the price. Lenovo have been championing the Zen 2 series with more and more options these past few weeks and the Flex 5 is the latest.

Fujitsu has announced new additions to its business-class Lifebook line of notebooks. They are led by the U9310 and its 2-in-1 variant, the U9310X. This 13.3-inch convertible has up to 10th-gen core i7 Intel processors and weighs only about 1 kilogram (kg).

Lenovo has announced new Yoga and IdeaPad detachable 2-in-1 tablets. Called the IdeaPad Duet 3i and Yoga Duet 7i, both run Windows 10 and support pen input. Optional LTE is available for both devices, too.

HP has refreshed its Elitebook x360 convertible lineup with 10th gen Intel Comet Lake-U CPUs, 5G networking, and optional OLED panels for the x360 1030 G7 variant. The new Elitebook x360 models also feature a redesigned keyboard, slimmer chassis, and offer both vPro and non-vPro CPU options.

After our review of the Asus ZenBook Flip 15's smaller sibling model, the impression remains that it's more a laptop than a tablet. Since this is exactly the purpose of a convertible, the performance is the only aspect left that could convince.

HP is currently offering a tantalizing AMD Ryzen 4000 deal as part of its Memorial Day sale. Various HP Envy x360 15 laptops with the new Renoir APUs have been discounted by US$50, meaning smart shoppers can pick up a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 4700U-based HP Envy x360 from US$829.99.

The SHIFT13mi is a new detachable 2-in-1 tablet that focuses on sustainability. The device combines high performance with a modular design that should make it more repairable than many of its peers.

The latest device from Dell to feature new AMD Ryzen 4000 APUs is the Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1 laptop. The convertible can be configured with either a Ryzen 5 4500U or Ryzen 7 4700U processor. Although the prices for the Ryzen 4000 laptops are lower, the more-expensive 13-inch Intel variants offer more RAM and more powerful batteries.

There are some great Microsoft Surface device deals to be had at the moment, especially if you are in the hunt for either a Surface Pro or Surface Laptop. There is up to US$400 off the Surface Pro 6, and you can save well over US$300 on some bundle deals, such as the Surface Laptop 3 Essentials Bundle with Microsoft 365 and 2-year extended warranty.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus is now shipping for US$1,299. Equipped with a 45 Wh battery, the ThinkBook Plus has an Intel Core i5-10210U Comet Lake processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The star of the show is the device's 10.8-inch secondary display though, which is both e-ink and a touchscreen.

It seems that AMD has confirmed that Ryzen processors are coming to Chromebooks. Lenovo may be one of the first OEMs to release a Ryzen-powered Chromebook too.

Priced comparably cheaply, the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet is a 2-in-1 tablet that also comes with a detachable keyboard. The Chrome OS device is now purchasable for US$299.

The passively-cooled 10.1-inch Windows tablet is better fit for indoor use with an external mouse despite its sturdy build and form factor.

Launched alongside the Surface Earbuds, the Surface Headphones 2, Surface Go 2 and Surface Book 3 will all start shipping later this month. The Surface Book 3 makes the jump to Ice Lake-U processors and up to a Quadro RTX 3000 GPU too, but there is no AMD Ryzen version as there is with the Surface Laptop 3.

Due to be unveiled later today, the Surface Book 3 has been confirmed to be arriving with a choice of at least three GPUs. The Surface Book 3 will be an all Intel and NVIDIA affair though, with no AMD APUs or GPUs making their way into Microsoft's premier Surface hardware.

Leaked images of the Surface Go 2 confirm that Microsoft has given its new baby 2-in-1 a more modern look. The Surface Go 2 uses the same chassis as its predecessor though, providing backwards-compatibility with existing accessories. However, there is no ARM model and a Core m3-8100Y model will retail for a disappointingly high €629.

Featuring a Core i7-1065G7 and 32 GB of RAM, the Surface Book 3 SKUs that have flown through Energy Star are sizeable upgrades over their predecessors. It looks increasingly unlikely that there will be any Ryzen 4000 Renoir options, though. Energy Star has confirmed the existence of a third Surface Go 2 SKU, too.

In another repeat of the Surface Go, Microsoft will be releasing distinct LTE and Wi-Fi versions of the Surface Go 2. Expected to arrive before the end of May, the Surface Go 2 will be a mostly incremental upgrade over the device that Microsoft released 20 months ago.

The FCC has confirmed that the Surface Book 3 will feature Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Spotted by Windows Latest, the listing includes references to the device having an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 modem, which supports up to 2.4 Gbps transfer speeds and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The Surface Book 3 may cost as much as US$1,699 at launch, according to past leaks.

With an estimated price of only US$185, the NANOTE mini laptop offers modest specs like an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 quad-core CPU, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage. Unlike the more expensive models from GPD and One-netbook, however, the NANOTE comes in a convertible form-factor with a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen.

Images of the XPS 15 9500 have appeared on a South Korean certification website. The photos, posted along with eight Latitude laptops, confirm that the new XPS 15 series will feature a 16:10 display, slimmer bezels, a much larger trackpad and front-firing speakers among other changes. Dell's laptop refresh is expected to land at the end of next month.

Revealed to be starting at US$1,699.99, the Surface Book 3 will come with up to 32 GB of RAM, a 2 TB SSD and an NVIDIA Quadro GPU. 13.5-inch and 15-inch variants are on the way, as are NVIDIA GTX GPUs, apparently. Possibly the GTX 1650 Max-Q and GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q, the jury is still out on whether the Surface Book 3 will feature Comet Lake-U or Ice Lake-U processors. There is a chance that Microsoft will offer both architectures, though.

Expected to be launched this spring, the Surface Go 2 is thought to be a minor upgrade over the existing model. While the Surface Go 2 will feature the same chassis as its predecessor, it will also have a larger display. Accordingly, the Surface Go 2 will get a resolution bump. eMMC flash storage will be making a return for the entry-level model though, apparently.

The convertible is now shipping through Best Buy for a starting price of just $500 USD. Options for 4G LTE, however, will have to wait until May. The new chassis is nearly identical to last year's model with a few noteworthy changes.

Compounding previous fears of the Surface Go 2 being more of the same from Microsoft and its Surface sub-division, rumour has it that the upcoming device will retain the design of its predecessor. While Microsoft may sell the 2-in-1 in more colours than just silver this time around, thick bezels, pitiful ports and outdated processors do not make the Surface Go 2 sound like an inspired refresh.

Rumour has it that the Surface Book 3 will be released with Comet Lake-U processors. One prominent leaker refutes this though, and all other signs point towards Ice Lake-U upgrades instead. Is Microsoft really going to give 14 nm another go on its premier mobile hardware?

The Renoir-powered Envy x360 15 will start at $700 USD compared to $850 USD for the 10th gen Intel Ice Lake option. If the trend continues, then it will become easier to recommend the AMD option especially since the 7 nm Ryzen 4000U series has been so promising thus far.

The Surface Pro 7 is one of Microsoft's latest 2-in-1s. Some people who have bought it have subsequently gone back to the Redmond giant's product forum reporting a bug in which the tablet shuts off without warning. The issue may be addressed with some work-arounds, but the OEM is apparently yet to issue an official fix.

New details about the Microsoft Surface Book 3 have been published that indicate the device will soon be released. The latest retailer listings describe the core configurations for the 13.5-inch and 15-inch Surface Book 3 convertibles along with a list of prices in Euros. It seems these new Surface devices will be coming with quad-core Intel Comet Lake-U processors.

The Surface Go 2 is almost here, and it will be arriving with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. An LTE variant is on its way too, with both rumoured to debut by the end of the month in an online event. Intel Core m3-8100Y and Pentium Gold 4425Y processors will make the Surface Go 2 nothing more than an incremental upgrade, though.

The latest market research from the Gartner group indicates that the market for PCs has experienced its "sharpest decline" since 2013. However, it seems this year-on-year drop in shipments, which applies to the first 3 months of this year (1Q2020), is related more to the Covid-19 pandemic rather than to demand for this category.

A tech blogger has managed to get hold of some price lists that could be for the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 3 devices. The listings also included prices for various related accessories and possibly the Surface Go 2. It has been opined that the “Surface Project T” could be the 13.5-inch Surface Book 3 while “Surface Project U” could be the 15-inch model.

The Microsoft Surface Go 2 and the successor to the Microsoft Surface Book 2 should soon be available, and more details about both devices are starting to leak online. The price range for the Microsoft Surface Go 2 is expected to start at US$399 with the convertible launching in the next few weeks. The lightweight Elite Dragonfly from HP is primarily designed for mobile users looking for a light device without sacrificing familiar security features from the EliteBook series. We were very pleased with the compact convertible in our review, but not all configurations make sense.

Like the Chromebook 715, the Chromebook Flip C436 is another expensive Chromebook from Asus. Announced at CES 2020 in January, the Flip C436 is now available to purchase in the US. Starting at US$799.99, Asus is currently offering the Flip C436 with Core i3 or Core i5 Comet Lake-U processors.

As promised last week, users can now find the 13.3-inch Chromebook convertible in stores and online. The ultra-thin system should cater better to travelers and remote clients when compared to lower-end Chromebook alternatives.

Codenamed the OEMQN Product Name EV1, the Core i5-1035G1 is likely an entry-level version of the Surface Book 3. Sporting a 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM this time, the long-awaited Surface Book 2 successor is expected to launch sometime this Spring.

This Intel Core i5-10210U-driven high-end Chromebook that was unveiled three months ago is finally coming to the US via Best Buy and Samsung's online store. Priced at US$999, the Galaxy Chromebook has a flip-and-fold design and its most attractive feature is the 4K Super AMOLED touchscreen with S Pen support.

It's 2020 and high-end Windows PCs are still shipping with 4 GB of RAM for some reason. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one if you intend to do more than just web browsing with a few open tabs.
