Performance-degrading transformation. The dedicated graphics chip is gone without replacement, 4K UHD is no longer an option and there is no Thunderbolt 3 anymore, either: At first glance, the Lenovo Yoga C740-15IML appears to be a clear downgrade compared to its predecessor. Good colors, cheap hardware. Chuwi is at it again with yet another Microsoft Surface clone. This time, the Chinese manufacturer is targeting the Surface Go crowd with an 11.6-inch detachable. The end result has some respectable qualities, but it's a big miss overall.

007 Spectre. The latest HP Spectre is definitely smaller, faster, and more portable than ever before, but the unsteady CPU performance and noticeable ghosting will leave some casual gamers disappointed.

Spectre and XPS contender. After making several Yoga C900 subnotebooks for years, Lenovo is ready to expand the lineup to include larger 15.6-inch sizes. The Yoga C940-15 sacrifices little in terms of performance and chassis quality especially for a convertible.

Iterative. The Surface Pro 7 doesn't bring enough to the table to warrant a whole digit upgrade over the Surface Pro 6. Unless if you really value the integrated USB Type-C port or Iris Plus graphics update, last year's model will suffice.

The Clone Wars. The UBook Pro offers high-end looks with low-end performance for a mid-range price. If you can get past the slow Core m3 processor, then you'll find the super-bright 12.3-inch display and three USB ports quite useful when compared to the dimmer and pricier Surface Pro.
