Lenovo has announced new Yoga and IdeaPad detachable 2-in-1 tablets. Called the IdeaPad Duet 3i and Yoga Duet 7i, both run Windows 10 and support pen input. Optional LTE is available for both devices, too.

Lenovo has announced its latest pair of detachable 2-in-1 tablets, the IdeaPad Duet 3i and Yoga Duet 7i. While both are Windows 10 machines that support pen input and optional LTE, Lenovo has aimed the IdeaPad Duet 3i and Yoga Duet 7i at different audiences.

Billed as style meeting substance, the Yoga Duet 7i features 10th gen Intel Core processors, along with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCIe storage. The device also has a 13-inch 2K touchscreen that Lenovo promises will reach 450 nits while covering 100% of sRGB. The company also states that the Yoga Duet 7i should last up to 10.8 hours between charges, a claim that it has based on running the MobileMark 2014 v 1.5 battery life benchmark.

By contrast, Lenovo considers the IdeaPad Duet 3i to be "portable and oh-so-practical". Featuring Intel Celeron or Pentium Silver processors, the IdeaPad Duet 3i can be equipped with 128 GB of eMMC flash storage and up to 8 GB of RAM. Additionally, the tablet has a 10-inch IPS panel that is capable of reaching 330 nits. According to Lenovo, the IdeaPad Duet 3i has a battery life of up to 7 hours. The company has based this claim on the same benchmark it used to calculate the battery life of the Yoga Duet 7i.

The Yoga Duet 7i will start at €1,199, a price that includes a keyboard cover and active pen. Lenovo expects to start selling the Yoga Duet 7i in Slate Grey and Orchid from June 2020. Meanwhile, the IdeaPad Duet 3i will be available from a month after at €429. This price only includes the keyboard cover, though. The IdeaPad Duet 3i is only available in Graphite Grey, too.
