An AMD Ryzen 5 3600 was shown to beat the Intel Core i7-8700 in a leaked PUBG benchmark over at the Chiphell forum. The Ryzen 5 3600 was shown to average about 6.3% higher than the 8700 when both of them were paired with DDR4-3000 RAM and a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. The larger cache size on Ryzen could work well for gamers, but further data and testing are needed for an absolute conclusion.

Embattled Chinese smartphone maker Huawei’s woes are no longer academic it seems. According to the South China Morning Post, Huawei smartphone assembler Foxconn has shut down several production lines that were making Huawei’s market leading smartphones.

AMD previewed its new RDNA architecture for Radeon GPUs at Computex 2019.

Navi 10-based AMD Radeon RX 5700 still has elements of GCN, 'pure' RDNA coming only in 2020

The upcoming AMD Navi GPUs such as the Radeon RX 5700 will use a hybrid GCN-RDNA architecture according to information obtained from AMD by Swedish outlet, SweClockers. Apparently, AMD feels that GCN is a mature architecture that has been optimized well for modern games and therefore, will find place alongside RDNA in Navi 10 GPUs. AMD is expected to completely transition to RDNA with Navi 20 sometime in 2020.

Likely 7-inch variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) visits FCC

A new Samsung tablet has gone through FCC validation, and may thus be released soon. Judging by its model number (SM-T295), it will probably be unveiled as a Galaxy Tab A (2019) at this event. The new certifier's listing also suggests that it will be a 7-inch version of the existing Tab A 10.1, with a 4980mAh battery.

Panasonic unveils the LUMIX S1H, the world's first 6K/24p digital single-lens mirrorless camera

Panasonic introduces a new LUMIX S-series camera, which, as it claims, "combines the video quality of a professional camera and the high mobility of a mirrorless camera". This is because it is capable of recording 6K video at up to 24fps, which still maintaining a full-frame unit's form factor. It will be released some time after summer in 2019.
