Fitness fanatics looking for an affordable tracker will soon no doubt be delighted by Xiaomi’s upcoming wearable product. The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 has featured in several real-life pictures that seem to confirm the rumors about it. For starters, the simple display of the Mi Band 3 has now been replaced with a color one.
The general look of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 also seems to be sleeker than its predecessor. The Mi Band 3 had a capacitive button that rested underneath the small display. But looking at the close-up images of the successor unit, it seems Xiaomi has gone for a smoother overall appearance for the Mi Band 4, which meant removing the button.
In terms of other Xiaomi Mi Band 4-related rumors, the fitness tracker is expected to come with a 135 mAh battery, which is a bump up from the 110 mAh battery the predecessor wearable sported. It’s been speculated there will be two versions of the band, one with NFC and one without. The NFC-capable Xiaomi Mi Band 4 may cost around US$72 while the regular version could cost a budget-friendly US$28 to US$43.
