A release date of sometime in July was expected for the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 7390, and we reported a specific July 10 launch. However, it now appears that buyers who want to get their hands on the new convertible will have to wait a bit longer. Fortunately, a specific date has been offered rather than a vague time frame.
Dell’s XPS chief, Frank Azor, has stated that the XPS 13 7390 will launch on August 2, but he did not provide any information in regard to why the 2-in-1 is coming later than expected. It’s possible the American manufacturer’s marketing department gave out the wrong date, and it’s also possible that Dell has run into some parts supply issues.
Hopefully, the Dell XPS 13 7390 won’t experience any further delays as it has the potential to be an incredible device. There is some disappointment about the details of the latest XPS 15 refresh, whereas the new XPS 13 2-in-1 is bringing many interesting features with it, which include a 4K Eyesafe display, a MagLev keyboard, a novel cooling system, and of course, 10th Gen Intel Ice Lake SoCs and their impressive Iris Plus Graphics iGPUs.
