We are now learning that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S21 series in a virtual event on January 14. This time, Samsung may do an Apple and forego bundling the charger and earphones in the box.

Another Cezanne Zen 3 chip has been spotted on Geekbench in the form of the AMD Ryzen 9 5900H. The sample managed to hit speeds of 4.64 GHz and recorded strong single-core and multi-core scores that place it up to over 23% ahead of the Ryzen 9 4900H. The Ryzen 9 5900H is a mobile APU with eight cores.

The Lenovo mini PC is just over a year old and it's already just a fraction of its original launch price. The base configuration with a Core i3 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB SSD will be sufficient for most basic workloads and HTPC setups.

An interesting 16-core Alder Lake processor from Intel has been spotted on Geekbench revealing some of its secrets, including the fact that it can utilize 24 threads and has a surprisingly low base clock. However, the Alder Lake-S part is clearly an engineering sample, as its maximum clock was recorded at a desktop-melting 17.6 GHz.

Vivo has made the X60 series official. They are the first phones to rock the Exynos 1080 SoC, and also have up to quad rear cameras with Zeiss branding. We ran several synthetic GPU benchmarks in our Asus VivoBook Flip 14 TP470 review unit and found that Intel's new Xe Max dGPU offers perceivable gains over the similar Xe Graphics G7 with 96 EUs and the GeForce GTX 1050 while being significantly faster than a GeForce MX350. Microsoft could be planning on offering a much-needed minor but vital spec bump with the base variant of the upcoming Surface Pro 8. The entry level device in the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 series comes with i3 processor and 4 GB RAM. However, it’s believed the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 will come with an 8 GB RAM option for the basic model.

Supposed specifications and the price for the Sony Xperia 1 III have leaked online. Unsurprisingly, a Snapdragon 888 processor is onboard and the 6.5-inch 5G smartphone allegedly boasts a 4K OLED panel and 120 Hz refresh rate. The reported price tag is US$1,199, which is the same as the Sony Xperia 1 II’s launch price.

An Intel Core i7-11700K has been blasting its way through Geekbench and recording mighty single-core scores that go beyond the i9-10900K, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, and even the Ryzen 9 5950X. The 8-core, 16-thread i7-11700K was supported by 32 GB RAM in a Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Master motherboard. Its clock speed reached 5.0 GHz.

Specs of NVIDIA's Ampere successor codenamed Lovelace seem to be already available and all signs point to a monster of a GPU. Initial single-core performance numbers from an Intel Rocket Lake-S Core i9-11900K QS indicate up to 33% higher scores than a Core i9-10900K and up to 7% more performance than an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X despite sub-optimal cooling. Xiaomi has opened up registration for MIUI 12.5 beta testing in China and the list of qualifying smartphones has been shared online. Details and key specifications for Huawei’s upcoming ARM-based laptop have been leaked on social media. It appears the notebook, which currently has the name Qingyun L410, is powered by the 8-core 5G-capable HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset. It’s not known if the Huawei laptop will be launched outside of China.

The Galaxy A71 is a Samsung phone with 4G/LTE and 5G variants. Recent rumors suggest that its successor will get the same. The tipster OnLeaks has also posted renders for at least one of them that hint at 4 rear cameras and a 6.7-inch display.
