Samsung Galaxy A72: new leaks point to quad rear cameras and a 4G/LTE variant
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is rumored to become a particularly interesting upper-mid-ranger of the near future. It may pack premium camera tech, OIS and a 3x zoom lens included. Its leaks also indicated that they would be handled by a penta-camera system on its rear panel. However, a more recent tip countermands this.
It comes in the form of a series of renders, allegedly showing that the A72 will cos20 feme with 4 rear cameras, arranged in a housing not hugely unlike that of the A32 or (according to their source, OnLeaks) the A52. It is also now slated to get a screen with a nearly de facto central punch-hole, with glasstic on the opposite side.
Parts of this alleged news might be disappointing for fans of more affordable phones with various high-end bells and whistles; then again, the camera hump shown in these renders could still allow for some. In addition, there is a chance that the images (presuming they are accurate) could refer to the A72's 4G/LTE-only version.
A device with a model number that could match this description - SM-A725F - has surfaced on Geekbench with what seems to be the Snapdragon 720G processor. It also has 8GB of RAM and Android 11 (possibly One UI 3.0 or even 3.1).
