The Kirin 990 and Dimensity 800-powered Honor Play 4 series will feature a contactless, infrared body temperature scanner, potentially aiding COVID-19 detection efforts

The US$420 Honor Play 4 Pro will feature a contactless, infrared body temperature scanner. The technology, which works like a forehead gun thermometer, should help in COVID-19 detection efforts. The series will likely include a Pro model with the Kirin 990 and a vanilla model powered by the Dimensity 800.
