AMD initiates lawsuit against MediaTek for illegal use of graphics technologies

MediaTek's Helio P10 SoC is allegedly infringing on graphics technologies developed by AMD. The complaints were filed with the ITC as early as 2017, but the two companies apparently were not able to reach any agreement out of court in the meantime so now AMD is looking to obtain a court order that would force MediaTek to pay up for past, present and current infringements.
