OPPO has made its latest OS skin official. It is based on Android 12, yet exhibits a considerably re-upholstered new UI rather than Google's new Material You design. It has also announced a roadmap that outlines which smartphones are eligible for the upgrade and the approximate date of upgrade per device.

Some recent leaks point to a new series of Motorola Moto E smartphones set to launch throughout the rest of 2021. They have been slated to be called the E20 and E30. Now, a new Geekbench-derived tip suggest there is also an E40 gearing up to join them.

Apple has now opened its trade-in program for the iPhone 13 series. In typical Apple fashion, the company's own flagships are by far the most valuable, with the iPhone 12 Pro Max being worth almost twice as much as the most valuable device from any other manufacturer.

Apple's upcoming smartphones are still equipped with the same amount of memory that was already built into the respective iPhone 12 predecessors. In comparison with its Android competitors, Apple is still lagging behind when it comes to how much RAM it puts into its flagship devices.

Xiaomi has revealed the 11 Lite 5G NE, its latest mid-range smartphone. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE builds on the Mi 11 Lite 5G with broadly the same hardware. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will be available in Truffle Black, Bubblegum Blue, Peach Pink and Snowflake White.

Xiaomi has revealed the 11T Pro, the more premium equivalent to the 11T. The Xiaomi 11T Pro features a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 120 Hz AMOLED display and a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 108 MP camera. A new leak claims to reveal the official details of Samsung's upcoming flagship SoC, the Exynos 2200. This new leak essentially confirms significantly better peak performance than current-gen SoCs like the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100, thanks to a new Cortex X2 super-core.
