Samsung Galaxy A73 leaks reveal details, renders, and potential pricing of the upper mid-range phone
The Samsung Galaxy A73 surfaced on Geekbench a few days ago sporting a Snapdragon 778G and 8 GB of RAM. Other leaks have now also presented some more information on what is likely to be Samsung's most expensive Galaxy A-series offering this year.
As revealed by @The_Galox, the Galaxy A73 is set to debut with a 108 MP main camera. This isn't the first time word of a 108 MP camera on the Galaxy A-series has surfaced either; leaks said so as far back as September last year. In addition to that, the Galaxy A73 is said to feature a 3x zoom lens, just like the Galaxy A72. As corroborated by the aforementioned Geekbench listing, the A73 could land with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It could also see a battery upgrade, from the 5000 mAh unit on the A72 to a 5500 mAh or 6000 mAh unit.
91Mobiles have now also revealed what appears to be the first official renders of the Galaxy A73, with the phone sporting noticeably smaller bezels than both the A72 and the imminent A53 5G. Renders are notoriously optimistic with bezels, but the leaked images indicate that the A73 5G will sport a cleaner front design versus its predecessor.
While launch dates are unknown, the Galaxy A73 is expected to debut soon. That could either be this month or sometime in April. A US$599 MSRP is rumored.
