The Samsung Galaxy A73's pricing leaks ahead of its official release to the Indian market
Samsung has now launched the long-awaited Galaxy A73...sort of, in the sense the OEM has let it be known the phone exists, but failed to mention the locations in which it would be sold and how much it would cost there. Now, however, it has filled in one of these blanks for the first time.
It now seems the A73 will be unleashed for the first time on April 8, 2022 via samsung.com/in, alongside its A33 and A53 siblings. PhoneArena now purports to confirm that it will start at INR 41,999 (~US$557) for a SKU with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, or top out at INR44,999 (~$597) for one with the same amount of RAM but double the storage.
Given the publication date of this alleged leak and some Samsung fans might hope it was intended as an April Fool's joke. It does pertain to an FHD+ phone with a processor that, while quite decently powerful enough and, unlike its predecessor, 5G on top of that, comes from 2021 after all.
On the other hand, these specs are combined with a 108MP main camera, an IP67 rating and expandable storage. In addition, those who reserve the A73 can also reportedly add a pair of Galaxy Buds Live at an INR 6491 (~$87) discount to their order.
