OnePlus has had a new smartphone approved for sale in China. This new leak, courtesy of the 3C authority, shows that it is the one teased earlier as the first to launch with 150 watt (W) SuperVOOC charging. This new cutting-edge tech is slated to fill the handset's 4,500mAh battery in just 5 minutes.

OnePlus' CEO Pete Lau had indicated earlier that this brand would be the first to launch a smartphone with some of the latest batteries and power bricks its parent company, BBK Electronics, can provide in 2022. With a new rate of 150W, it might thus also be the fastest-charging phone on the market should it launch soon.

Now, this next-gen SuperVOOC-enabled device has been spotted on the 3C database. This PGKM10 5G phone has been certified alongside a power brick also linked to another BBK subsidiary, Realme. It now seems that brand will also use the VCK8HACH accessory to sustain its own take on 150W charging.

This new "UltraDart technology" is slated to debut in the GT Neo3 soon. On that note, the famous leaker Digital Chat Station now indicates that it and the OnePlus PGKM10 will have a number of other specs in common, as, indeed, will the upcoming OPPO K10.

They include a 6.7-inch display, apparently supplied by BOE, with a central punch-hole selfie camera. The 3 phones are also now projected to share the same triple rear camera set-up with a Sony IMX766 main shooter - although Digital Chat Station has also intimated that they might vary in terms of layout across brands, and also have different, possibly superior, tuning in the case of the OnePlus version.

Fiinally, they are all now suspected of having the same Dimensity 8100 processor - which has been confirmed in the case of the GT Neo3, at least. Accordingly, these new leaks paint a picture of 3 suspiciously similar new phones that might target the upper-mid-tier price range thanks to some all-new specs in 2022.

Then again, some of Digital Chat Station's latest comments on this subject can be interpreted as intimating that the OnePlus exponent of this upcoming formula will launch without the brand's signature Alert Slider. This is typically a hallmark of the more budget Nord-series models, thereby inviting speculation that the world's first 150W SuperVOOC phone could launch for cheaper than one might imagine.
