Mid-range gamer with an entry-level GPU. Lightweight 64 GB RAM. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G11 is the first model of this line with up to 64 GB of RAM. Debut for Apple's M3 SoC. Apple launched its new MacBook Pro models and the old MacBook Pro 13 is not longer available. Instead, there is a new entry-level model of the MacBook Pro 14 with the base M3-SoC and 8 GB RAM for $1599. However, there are some compromises, especially in terms of connectivity as well as the cooling performance.

OLED office. The Swift Go 14 boasts a low weight (1.3 kg), an aluminum case and an OLED screen (2,880 x 1,800 pixels, 90 Hz) with a work-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the laptop features two USB 4 ports, a QHD webcam and an attractive price (US$800).

Compact gaming PC! Compact mini PCs with dedicated graphics cards aren't all too widespread at the moment. Nevertheless, Minisforum's Neptune Series HX77G is a compact mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS and an AMD Radeon RX 6600M. We have taken a closer look at this device and have analyzed its performance with the help of a variety of benchmarks and current games.

Business on a budget. If you're not excited about spending thousands of dollars on a fancy ThinkPad X1 Carbon, then the more down-to-Earth ThinkPad E16 G1 might be worthwhile. Just make sure to choose the correct display, battery, and CPU option.

Robust Rolex replacement. The bulky Oukitel WP30 Pro is also suitable for very difficult environments, lasts for a long time, and can even see in the dark with its camera. AMD & IPS beats Intel & OLED. We've already reviewed the current ThinkPad T14s G4 with the Intel processor and high-resolution OLED panel, and now we have the AMD model with the Ryzen 7 7840U and low-power IPS display. Can the Core i7-1355U beat a Ryzen 5 7530? The ThinkPad L13 Yoga G4 comes with both Intel and AMD options. Intel offers better single-thread performance and Thunderbolt support as expected, but expect louder fans and shorter runtimes than the AMD alternative.

Small size, big CPU. If you want to maximize processor performance while minimizing form factor, then the OptiPlex Micro Plus 7010 has you covered. It runs a bit hot to say the least, but that is arguably preferable over any extreme throttling measures.

Its updated cyber-chic chassis is rated for output and input wattages of 140W each, and to support bi-directional charging on top of that. Can its real-world performance match its Kickstarter hype?

Harmonious. According to Schenker, the XMG Pro 16 Studio is a "professional workstation for content creation". The specs fit: Core i9, an RTX 4070, Thunderbolt 4 and a 16:10 display (QHD+, 240 Hz). A vapor chamber supposedly ensures optimum heat dissipation and quiet cooling.

USB commitment. The iPhone 15 Pro aims to uphold Apple's longstanding tradition of delivering high-quality smartphones. Its key innovations in 2023 include a body infused with titanium, the introduction of a USB-C port, and the integration of a new gaming GPU. Our test evaluates whether Apple has successfully crafted another "excellent" smartphone.

Operating on the edge. This budget gaming notebook from Gigabyte features an Alder Lake processor and an Ada Lovelace GPU. It also has a PCIe 4.0 SSD (512 GB), 16 GB of RAM and an FHD panel (144Hz), but Windows doesn’t come preinstalled. One serious drawback: the included charger can sometimes be overloaded by the laptop.

Debut for the RTX 2000 Ada. Lenovo no longer offers the ThinkPad X1 Extreme. Instead, the identically built ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 takes over the tasks as a powerful multimedia computer or mobile workstation from now on. We tested the new ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 with the professional Nvidia RTX 2000 GPU and the matte IPS panel with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

Gaming dwarf. The Ayaneo Air 1S is so small that it probably fits in most pockets. Nevertheless, the Asian manufacturer manages to pack more than enough computing power for the latest titles from our Steam library into the small case with a 5.5-inch OLED display.

A Cyberpunk cassette-styled home server. The ZimaBlade single-board computer (SBC) aims to continue where its predecessor, the ZimaBoard, left off, by making it as easy as possible for any consumer to get to know all about home servers and simultaneously offer extremely inviting and multifaceted hardware for enthusiasts looking to tinker and experiment. We test whether this works and also look at which benefits the Zimaboard offers.

Off to Egypt. The established Total War series has received a new spin-off: Pharao. Thanks to its integrated benchmark, the game is well-suited for our performance test. We have tested multiple laptop and desktop GPUs to see how well they can run the game.

Is AMD's Cezanne still fast enough? Design-wise, the Geekom A5 is similar to the well-known Intel NUC mini PCs which are nowadays marketed by Asus. Although an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is at work under the hood, the SoC no longer belongs to the newest models on the market. We have analysed the Geekom A5's performance to see if it is currently still worth your money.

6W 12th gen Alder Lake-N CPU. The N100 is a decent upgrade over an old Celeron or Atom while keeping costs under US$200, but it's barely any better than the N95 if you're looking for even more affordable alternatives.

Potential for improvement. ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook: Keeping track of HP's model range is increasingly difficult. With the ProBook 445 G10, we test one of the manufacturer's cheaper AMD-based office laptops with a surprisingly bright display.

Demanding Souls-like game. Following Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen is the second game released in a short space of time that is hugely reminiscent of FromSoftware games. We have taken a closer look at how hardware-hungry the new release is.

Raptor Lake Part 2. The competition to determine the fastest and all-around best gaming processor is now entering the next round. With today's introduction of the Intel Core i9-14900K, Intel sends a new top model for the 1700 socket into the race. Will this be able to challenge AMD? In addition, we will also be taking a closer look at the Intel Core i5-14600K, which might be the more attractive choice as a good midrange processor.

Compact, light, good. Dell provides a 13.3-inch compact laptop that is somewhat lighter than the 14-inch Latitude 7440 recently reviewed, but this comes at the expense of minor sacrifices. Our Dell Latitude 7340 review indicates which tiny notebook is the superior pick.

New name, old problems. Even though EA has been found guilty of violating gambling laws in several countries, the football simulation game FC (formerly FIFA) still enjoys a certain level of popularity. In this review, we'll take a look at the graphical requirements of the 2024 edition.

Legion for the rest of us. With the LOQ 15IRH8, Lenovo aims to deliver a distinctive, capable gaming laptop that goes easy on the wallet without the baggage of its other budget lineups. Does this plastic-clad contender succeed? How does this Core i7-13620H model fare against its similarly priced AMD Zen 4-powered cousin? Our testing reveals a mixed bag.

Raptor Lake H45 and 90 Hz display. Schenker has upgraded its compact Vision 14 Ultrabook with an Intel Raptor Lake processor and an optional GeForce RTX 3050. In review today is the iGPU variant, which achieves very long runtimes thanks to a 99 Wh battery and scores with very good maintenance options.

No high-end phone shines brighter. Xiaomi's 13T Pro is not only a high-end phone with powerful hardware, but it also closes the gap to the competition in terms of software updates. Five years of updates, an AMOLED screen with a brightness of almost 2,500 nits and a high-end chipset are just a few reasons that speak for purchasing the Xiaomi phone.

The middle way. If the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 has too little storage and the Tab S9 Ultra is too expensive, Samsung also offers an alternative with up to 512 GB of storage and a 12.4-inch display with the Galaxy Tab S9+. Is this the "golden middle"? We find out in our test.

Compact and versatile. The Logitech Wave Keys is an ergonomic wireless keyboard that strives to feel immediately familiar. It is also designed to work with all operating systems and also be compact and versatile. Read on to find out what we think of this new addition to Logitech’s Ergo Series.

Back to the roots. With Mirage, Assassin’s Creed is striving to turn the focus back to its original core elements (e.g. stealth). We are especially interested in checking out how graphically demanding the latest instalment in the series is.

A job well done. The gaming laptop from XMG benefits from moderate noise emissions, comparatively low power consumption and still high performance levels (Ryzen 7 7840HS, GeForce RTX 4050). Completing the setup are good runtimes and a decent price (from around US$1,170).

Is more really needed? You can spend hundreds of dollars on an Android tablet. Or in the case of the Teclast M50 Pro, less than US$200. Despite its low price, the 10.1-inch Android 13 tablet offers a surprisingly comprehensive range of features and solid mid-range performance.

New contents, old bugs. In the past few years, hardly any game has been as highly anticipated as Cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately, the RPG wasn't in a particularly good state technically at launch. Read our analysis to find out whether things have improved with the release of this DLC.

Core gaming business. Schenker's Core 16 (Tongfang GM6XG7X) is a great gaming laptop that needn't hide from any of its upper mid-range rivals thanks to its AMD Ryzen 7 and RTX 4070 (or RTX 4060) and a whole range of other great features such as an optional mechanical keyboard.

Evolution instead of revolution. Samsung has only carefully redesigned the Galaxy Tab S9 5G compared to its predecessor. New features include the most powerful Snapdragon on the market and a switch to OLED technology for the display. The Tab S9 still comes with an S-Pen and can handle both work and play. How does it compare to the tablet elite?

Raptor without endurance. Lenovo puts an OLED panel into its ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 Intel. This screen delivers a great picture quality, but an important aspect of this business laptop is suffering from the screen choice: the battery life.

Leftovers recycling Deluxe. Microsoft updates the compact Surface Laptop Go and equips the 3rd generation with an Alder Lake Core i5 processor. Furthermore, there is now an optional 16 GB of RAM, but the important keyboard backlight is still missing. At the same time, the price has increased further.

OLED-Convertible with Intel instead of AMD After our review of the HP Envy x360 15 2023 with AMD processor, we now also have the Intel version of the convertible as a test device. Apart from the processor, the devices are almost identical, so the Intel variant also has the OLED display and the high-quality chassis. Due to the similarity, the devices are well suited for an AMD vs. Intel comparison.

Classic AMD vs. Intel. The NucBox K3 Pro is the AMD alternative to the NucBox K2 each sporting the same chassis design but with different internals. The NucBox K3 Pro model name may sound newer and faster, but it's clearly inferior to the NucBox K2 when it comes to performance.

Peak performer. The XMG Apex 17 proves that gaming laptops don't have to produce excessive noise: Despite high-level performance (Ryzen 7 7840HS, GeForce RTX 4060) the computer manages to run quietly. This is accompanied by well-rounded specs and decent battery life.

This way it works out cheaper. The Tecno Phantom V Flip also comes to the West and offers a strong competitor to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 5 with a lower price, a lot of storage, and a round outer display. Our test will show whether the newcomer can convince.

RTX 4060 Ti scare! The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT follows in the footsteps of the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, which was able to score with a good price-performance ratio in the past. We evaluated the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT in form of the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, analyzing it with various tests and benchmarks to find out whether it is a worthy successor of the RX 6700 XT.

More ports and noisier fans. Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio is a pretty unique product and the second generation gets much faster components as well as more ports, but the foldable display is identical. 16-inch screen size and only 1.2 kg. The Acer Swift Edge 16 is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops in the market right now with the new Ryzen 7 7840U. There's no doubt that its CPU and 120 Hz OLED display are both impressive, but weaknesses elsewhere on the model shouldn't be ignored.

The ROG Flow X13 doesn't have many competitors, and largely lives up to expectations in our tests. However, Asus's gaming convertible demands a premium and there are a few things to watch out for.

A sensible feature? With the AM20, Acemagic has released a mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735H and an AMD Radeon 680M. Despite its compact form factor, three mass storage drives can be installed and an inductive charging station is hidden in the case lid. AMD Zen 4 works its magic. The AMD Zen 4 U-series platform makes the Intel Core P-series look obsolete. Unless if you value one or two very specific Intel features, then the new AMD Framework should be a no-brainer for most users.

Less hefty. For the first time, the iPhone 15 Pro Max features a titanium case and an even bigger battery - plus, it now uses USB. Affordable OLED convertible The HP Envy x360 15 from 2023 is the first convertible or laptop with IMAX Enhanced certification on the market. This means that the display and speakers meet the strict requirements of IMAX and DTS. In combination with the gorgeous OLED display and the fantatstic build quality, the convertible is a good all-rounder.

Red, gold and retro. MSI is doubling down on the design of the 17-inch GE78 for the smaller 16-inch GE68. The new look may not be for everyone, but performance is admirable with some of the fastest CPU and GPU options currently available on any gaming laptop this year.

Affordable gamer. With its LOQ series, Lenovo tries out a new name for affordable gaming laptops compared to the more expensive Legion models. The current 16-inch model is affordable, and the performance is right. So where is the hitch? We test the gaming laptop with an RTX 4060!

Mid-range price, premium feeling. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is an exciting alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, however, the Xiaomi tablet only costs half of what the Tab S9 Ultra does. The 14-inch Pad 6 Max, with its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, suffers from one major drawback despite its good value for money.

Dwarven powerhouse. Sony's Xperia 5 V is a strong camera phone for small hands: featuring a 48 MP dual camera, the slim 21:9 smartphone manages to replace three lenses. The 6.1-inch small Android 13 phone is also equipped with the lightning-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a 5000 mAh battery.

5G bargain. Telekom relies on its own smartphones - and now tablets as well. The T Tablet has made its entrance and relies fully on mobile data. Thanks to its 5G capabilities, the device will supposedly always be connected. Furthermore, its collaboration with Google assures slim software and long-lasting support. Hit the jackpot?

The better RTX 4060 Ti? With the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, Nvidia has brought out a good and very efficient graphics card for the price-conscious buyer. A feast for racing game fans? Ubisoft tries to compete with Forza Horizon 5 with The Crew Motorfest. We took a closer look at the title and clarify which graphics card is needed for which settings in this benchmark test.

Gaming on OLED. The Legion Slim 5 14 is the smallest and most travel-friendly Legion laptop yet and its OLED display is certainly a standout feature not found on most other gaming laptops. However, it's missing a key feature that gamers ought to be aware of.

Surprisingly great Souls clone. Better to succeed in imitation than to fail in originality: that is one way to sum up Lies of P. The action game borrows heavily from the well-known Souls' formula.
