Actually flexible! The business convertible is a capable device in both regards. As per usual with the ThinkPad series, the case and input devices are satisfactory even for more demanding users. Additionally, the L13 Yoga is very capable in many ways in tablet mode - and not only because of the included digital pen. So, is it the perfect allround convertible?

Robust AMD subnotebook. Lenovo's ThinkPad L-series is often even the choice over the T- or X-series for price- and quality-conscious customers. Rightly so, and accordingly the ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 AMD is also a slim but still very robust 13-inch ultrabook with an AMD processor, which not only has a very positive impact on the performance, but also on the battery life, temperatures and noise!

On par with the vapor chamber models. In our first review of the ThinkPad P1 G4, there were problems with the performance of the Tiger Lake CPU. Road warrior with Ryzen power. The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 already received a very good rating in its version with an Intel CPU. The compact business laptop gets even better with the AMD Ryzen 5000 series. The Cezanne U CPUs make the Lenovo ThinkPad faster while reducing temperatures and fan noise.

Powerful X1 in its fourth generation. In a year of numerous ThinkPad redesigns, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 is one of the most significant - after all, it's the very first 16-inch ThinkPad laptop. We are also pleased with the other features of this premium multimedia laptop, although battery life is disappointing.

BIOS updates stabilize the performance. In our first tests, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon G9 still struggled with performance issues. After several BIOS updates, the performance is now stable, but also lower. The optional ePrivacy screen also remains problematic.

Super Vapor. Colossus. Lenovo's P-series ThinkPads fall in line with the traditional ThinkPads. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, the display borders around the 16:9 display could have been slightly narrower. However, the Lenovo workstation shines where it matters, offering excellent performance and expandability.

Still up to date? The Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen 2 is a traditional mobile workstation with a large chassis and a focus on performance. To this end, it's equipped with the latest 45-watt CPUs from Intel as well as new professional graphics cards from Nvidia. However, the cooling system in particular doesn't fully deliver.

First AMD ThinkPad with a UHD display. Until now, the 4K UHD displays had a glossy surface in the 14-inch ThinkPads, and the AMD Ryzen models of the ThinkPad T14 and its siblings were not offered with 4K displays at all. This changes now with the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 AMD with a Ryzen 5000 and a UHD monitor that has a matte surface to boot.

A lot of performance and very good keyboard. Lenovo updates the third generation of its 15-inch ThinkPad E15 with powerful Ryzen 5000 CPUs as well as better displays. The very good keyboard is unchanged, so the E15 G3 is a real price-performance recommendation.

Budget laptop with potential. The Lenovo ThinkPad L series represents the entry level among the B2B models; the ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 is one of the cheapest ThinkPad laptops with a 14-inch display. Nevertheless, it convinces with its strong performance and upgradeability. However, compromises have to be made in terms of battery life and multimedia.
