Huawei has launched its new range of wearables at this OEM's own Developer Conference (HDC 2020). Its flagship is unarguably the Watch GT 2 Pro, which has titanium and ceramic in its casing, as well as a "sapphire" display crystal. It is rated for up to 2 weeks' worth of battery life and comes in Sport or Classic SKUs.

Vivo is prepping the Vivo Watch, the company’s first foray into the smartwatch market. The device looks similar in appearance to Samsung’s Galaxy Watches and similarly eschews Google’s WearOS in favor of a bespoke solution.

Earlier, the prominent chipset manufacturer TSMC announced that it would comply with US trade regulations preventing it from doing business with the OEM Huawei from mid-September 2020 onward. Similarly, LG and Samsung have stated that they will stop supplying the company with display panels on the date in question. Then again, Huawei may still have contingencies for this latest setback.

OnePlus is planning to release its first budget handheld codenamed Clover. Unlike the OnePlus Nord, which is only available in India and Europe, the Clover will be available worldwide for under US$200. Specs include a Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage, a 13 +2 +2 MP rear camera setup, 6.52-inch IPS screen with 1560 x 720 resolution and a massive 6000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging.
