Official renders of the LG Wing have leaked ahead of its launch next week thanks to Evan Blass. The images show the device from behind for the first time revealing a rear camera array that is quite similar in appearance to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 line.

The leaks keep coming thick and fast for the forthcoming LG Wing. We’ve already seen at least a couple of unofficial videos of the device in action including one highlighting its unique multitasking capabilities and another showing how the swivel mechanism for the display works. Serial leaker Evan Blass has now revealed the device in its first official renders.

We haven’t previously seen the rear of the LG Wing before, so this is certainly of interest. Clearly visible is a triple camera array that looks quite similar to the camera set up seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. We don’t know what its specifications are, but we can probably assume that it includes a wide lens, ultra-wide lens and telephoto lens which has become increasingly common.

The LG Wing is being launched under LG’s new Explorer Project banner which suggests we can probably expect more unusual form factor devices from LG in the short to medium term. In a world still dominated by candy bar form factor devices, it is refreshing to see LG take a risk by launching this device. We have to say, the ability to watch a video while scrolling through your social media feed certainly holds some appeal.
