TCL's existing 30-series smartphones are new devices pitched at the US market. Now, it has announced new variants for the European market at the latest Mobile World Congress (MWC). They include the 30 5G, accompanied by Plus, SE, and E variants, starting from under US$160.

MediaTek has finally lifted the covers of the Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 8100. Both SoCs feature four ARM Cortex-A78 cores, four Cortex-A55 cores, a Mali G610 GPU, 200 MP camera support, and more. They will debut alongside Chinese-origin smartphones in Q1, 2022.

Yet again, it appears owners of the Exynos model of Samsung's newest flagship phone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, get the short end of the stick. Going by side-by-side comparisons, the Exynos 2200-powered phones display both worse battery life and video recording.

The GT2 Pro is Realme's early-2022 flagship smartphone, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and up to 12GB of RAM. Lenovo has now made its first-gen Legion Y-series Android smartphone official. New tests have now revealed performance and efficiency metrics of both the Cortex-X2 and Cortex-A710 cores on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200, along with similar cores on chipsets like Google's Tensor, the Snapdragon 888, and the Snapdragon 870.

The flagship of the T series was renovated last year, and another redesign is happening this year, due to the change toe 16:10 screens. Another focus: The new Intel Alder Lake CPUs and AMD Ryzen 6000, as well as a new screen option.

Apart from a regular update to the established T series ThinkPads, Lenovo also dares to explore new territory with the ThinkPad brand at MWC.
