Premium performance at a luxury price. For those who don't want to make any technical compromises, the Schenker XMG Ultra 17 is the right laptop or, more precisely, desktop replacement. Budget gamer. According to MSI the GF75 10SDR-253 might become one of this holiday seasons's best-selling notebooks. You get a six-core CPU, a 144 Hz panel, and a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti for less than $1,200. Naturally, we had to take a closer look at this price-performance champ.

Let there be light. The Strix G17 doesn't lower its guard and displays all modern games smoothly on the matte screen (IPS, Full HD, 144 Hz). The individually configurable LED bar on the bottom brings color into play. The laptop offers space for up to three M.2 SSDs.

Turbo Boost. The Predator Helios 300 can run all current games smoothly. It features a 17.3-inch 144-Hz Full HD screen. Users can install up to three storage devices in the Acer laptop.

With potential for upgrades. With the Aorus 5 KB, Gigabyte has gone with a barebone case from Clevo. This has some advantages like a replaceable battery and very good maintenance options. In our review we'll clarify how well this ultimately works with the hardware installed and the performance that can be expected.

No frills. With the Aorus 7 KB, Gigabyte delivers a 17.3-inch gaming laptop that brings all modern computer games smoothly onto the matte screen (Full HD, IPS, 144 Hz). The device offers space for up to three storage devices.

4500 dollars of pure power. Picking up that yellow or orange drop after defeating a late game boss is always exciting. Getting that perfect stat roll might even be worth showing off. The MSI GT76 Titan has the specs and performance of an exotic drop that gamers are always grinding after.

So cheap, what's the catch? It's one of the cheapest gaming laptops you can find with the GeForce RTX 2060 at the moment, but don't hop onboard just yet. The 8 GB of single-channel RAM and small 256 GB NVMe SSD might hinder your experience.

Full throttle. The Pavilion's hardware (Ryzen 7 4800H, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q) brings all modern computer games smoothly onto the 15.6-inch matte screen (IPS, Full HD, 144 Hz). The latter scores points with fast response times and good color reproduction. This is complemented by an NVMe SSD and 16 GB of RAM (dual-channel mode).

2 kg gamer. The Zephyrus M15's main components bring all the latest computer games smoothly to the 15.6-inch matte screen (4k, IPS, Pantone certified). The rest of the interior is equally good: 2x NVMe-SSD (RAID 0), 16 GB RAM (dual channel), Thunderbolt 3.

Ultra mediocre. Do you want to spend $1400 USD for a 17-inch laptop with slow Core i5 performance, no AdobeRGB coverage, and no Thunderbolt 3? This overpriced LG Ultra 17 is unique but in all the wrong ways.

Ryzen 7 pulls ahead. The configuration we tested costs less than 1500 Euros (~$1745) and is equipped with a powerful Ryzen 7 4800H, an Nvidia RTX 2060, a good IPS display, and a fast SSD. So what's the catch? There really isn't one, even though the XMG Core 15 is far from doing everything right. Particularly the powerful Ryzen improves our subjective impression.
